I was hoping Miller would at least be sane enough to give a poster in which he would make a visual reference to the letters as part of the scenario, in Eisner's famous style.

Sin Spirit. No Eisner, just Miller.

Absolutely badass poster. But it's not Eisner's Spirit. Man, I was expecting it to be different. I like Miller, but the guy's a one trick pony. He's not making this for Eisner, nor is he going for Eisner's style. Miller's making it for his big fat self. Since Sin City was so well received he probably thinks he's some god now and has a huge ego.

I know this is a big problem, even if the movie isn't like Sin City at all. Hopefully the costume won't be as black as those crappy pictures in the final product.

It would be pretty sad if The Incredibles will have had the closest thing to a faithful Spirit costume in the movie.

He can't. He's a one trick pony. I won't be surprised if Sin Spirit has ninjas. Almost every damn Miller book has ninjas. And even if the book BATMAN YEAR ONE doesn't have ninjas, BATMAN BEGINS, supposedly based on Year One, does.
