Before we start, here is some info:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_genocide

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_genocide_recognition

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_resolution_on_Armenian_genocide

Countries officially recognizing the Armenian Genocide include:
Argentina
Armenia
Austria
Belgium
Canada
Chile
Cyprus
France
Germany
Greece
Italy

So my questions are, should the House of Representatives recognize the events happened to Armenian people in 1915-1918? And, will the fact that the United States recognize Armenian Genocide test American democracy?

The 42 states of the United States recognizing the Armenian Genocide are:

Of course not! The United States Congress has far more important things to do like investigate the New England Patriots video taping their opponents (while not investigating a war started on false pretenses) or try to find things to name after Ronald Reagan. Why should a little genocide get in the way of those important tasks?

LOL, thank you for the support :)

Who the **** cares? It happened 100 years ago, what the **** does it matter if we recognize it or not?

"Yeah, a lot of people got killed.....so.....yeah."

I am indifferent either way.

Darth: Hey did you hear about all those Armenians that got killed?

Norm: No, when did this happen?

Darth: Like a hundred years ago.

Norm: So why are you telling me about this now?

Darth: Because we need to get our government to recognize it!

Norm: Why?

Darth: Some dude on the internet is telling us to.

Norm: Why?

Darth: Because dammit!

Norm: Is gas still over $4 a gallon?

Darth: Yeah.

Norm: Then I don't give a ****.

It took lives of millions of people, the nation of who could disappear

And only because Turkey is a partner of USA, it doesn't mean the country can't recognize the first genocide happened last century. Isn't this what democracy states?

The problem is, the government isn't doing anything about that either, so they may as well do a meaningful distraction issue, than continue to investigate Spy-Gate.

Is recognizing it going to bring all those people back? Is it going to change anything? No, it's a big ****ing waste of time.

If your nation was totally overkilled and humbled, and decades later nobody even thought about it, would you say so? Did you watch what happened to millions of people, who didn't do anything to deserve this?

Jews got their recognition for genocide organized by Germans, why can't Armenian people, who were the first to experience the total liquidation get their right?

No, it won't bring all these people back, but it will bring numerous changes not only to Armenian nation, but also in American democracy. These people were killed, and their children deserve the recognition and truth.

No it won't.

How the **** does recognizing the Armenian genocide of a hundred years ago going to help democracy in the America? Please, explain this to me.

Not hundred years, but ninety.

I said it would only test American democarcy and how accurate it is.

And do you really need to always type ****? We've already got your anger.

You're making zero sense on this.

I care more about the integrity of the current NFL than America calling a genocide that occurred a century ago, a genocide.

Does that make me a bad person? Almost certainly.

Until you can specifically state why this would help America's democracy, I can't take you seriously.

Dude, your grandfather probably wasn't even alive when that happened.

I am a direct descendant of one of the victims of this genocide. That's why I ask you to think what if the same happened to you. Would you just forget about what happened a century ago, but wasn't recognized and even mention in the history?

I'm a direct descendant of the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua, doesn't mean I'm campaigning to get people to recognize anything.
