Should Dan Slott write a Bat-book?

Sounds pretty good, thanks.

Oh, Brian Michael Bendis. What would the world do without you?

No.

Unless it's Legends or something. I'm happy with Morrison and Dini.

I take it you've never read his Arkham Asylum: Living Hell mini series. Or Slott's run from issue #1 through #17, in Batman Adventures.

I didn't know Slott wrote Batman Adventures. I have several of those. Arkham Asylum: Living Hell looks cool. I think I might haved to pick it up sometime.

Title: Arkham Asylum: Living Hell
Writer/Artist: Dan Slott and Ryan Sook
Publisher: DC comics
Genre: Crime, fantasy.
Summary: Warren White is rich, handsome, and commands the respect of hundreds. Warren White is also one of the worst men you could ever meet. He and his company engage in every form of tax evasion and fraud imaginable. And, recently, he was caught red-handed. These, however, were not Warren's mistakes. Having his trial in Gotham City and pleading an insanity defense was Warren's mistake.

What follows is a most intriguing tale. The inside of Arkham Asylum, from the perspective of a sane man. This book offers a very interesting take on Batman's villains, and delves into the psyches of some of his lesser-known rogues. The series also takes a rather surprising twist, suggesting that there may be a more otherworldly reason for Arkham's rather unique history.

Format: A six issue mini series, currently available in trade.

I did that write up. I feel loved. :)

I finally got around to reading AA: Living Hell. It was pretty sweet. I was even a fan of Sook's after reading his X-Factor run. Okay, okay, Slot can do a Batbook. Although I'd say a LOTDK story would be best. :o

People would read it if they actually put a competent writer on it.
