Arrow Should Flash have the yellow boots? Or no?

Now a days there are always reasons for a costume. So does flash NEED the yellow boots? And should he have them? I personally like them but i guess the 1990 series Flash didn't.

If they go with the Speed Force costume, the colours do not need expanation.

I'd prefer if his costume was all red, just different shades. His boots should be darker red than the rest of his costume,as well as his gauntlets.

Yellow boots, yellow logo, yellow lightning bolt band, and yellow wingtips. That's my ideal look for the costume. I also want the open and exposed parts in the mask to be a little wider than in the old series (and not so triangular). If the wingtips could be shaped like mini lightning bolts, that would be fantastic!

I actually hope they don't make his boots full on yellow. I'd prefer them to look like this.

Or even this.

Also, I hope they aren't actual "boots", but instead repurposed running shoes. Kinda like Spidey did here.
