    I had a thought today.

It's pretty clear that the Flash and Arrow shows will maintain their "connectedness" as both move forward. But I'm wondering to what degree the titular heroes will interact with each other from now on.

More specifically, how they will view each other. They didn't exactly hit it off on their first meeting. And in the comics Barry and Oliver bickered and fought plenty of times.

Yet in other versions they're the best of friends. Injustice took this route in giving Flash and Green Arrow a similar relationship to what Barry typically has with Hal Jordan.

So I'm wondering how often Arrow and Flash will work together and whether they'll be friendly allies or rivals. I'd be interested to see either one honestly.

I don't think they should be best of friends, but still, not hostile.

I'm pretty sure they're gonna be friends. Ollie even tells Det. Lance that he got his mask from "a friend".

Ollie may have been a little annoyed by him but I can't imagine why they wouldn't be friends. Barry was a major fanboy of the Arrow.

Yeah, but that admiration seemed to be fairly one-sided. Ollie was always suspicious of Barry and became fairly hostile after Felicity brought him to the Arrow Cave.

In any case, I doubt he's going to pick a fight with the guy after he finds out that he can run faster than the human eye can track.

Be interesting to see if Ollie feels somewhat inadequate when superpowers become more prevalent.

Well seeing as the teaser was a HUGE homage to a scene from "Quiver" which very much shows these guys as BFF, literally because they are in heaven, I'd say that Barry and Ollie will be very good friends once Barry puts on that costume and Ollie sees him as a peer.

I think that Arrow can Flash might cross-over much more than people are expecting. More than one or two episodes.

Eh, conflict is more interesting than harmony. Surely they will but (butt?) heads at least once.

The new trailer makes them look like friends, like Barry goes to him as a mentor when he realizes he can help people.

Yeah, definitely getting a mentor vibe from Oliver's words to Barry in the trailer. This could be a cool relationship if they crossover often.

I can't imagine any reason for there to be any hostility between the two.

Unless they play a Olicity/Barry triangle, which they better not.

A lot of the hostility was Oliver's jealousy and trying to preserve his secret. And of course he was still trying to understand this whole hero thing.

Barry though will be a fellow hero and now that Oliver isn't killing people...

I would love to see Barry kick the snot out of Oliver at least once. It makes little difference whether Flash is being mind controlled or he's just jealous or angry, it would be awesome to see Arrow get his butt handed to him.

Maybe it eventually occurs to Barry that "Wait. . . my idol has killed dozens of people in dubious circumstances. Why am I not treating him like a violent criminal?"

    *ahem*

Since the "superheroes have friction" thing is pretty played out and I can't imagine a reason the Flash and Green Arrow wouldn't get along, I'd say just friends.

Well in the comics, they sure as hell never were friends. To my knowledge barry has never been fond of olivers ways.
