No. My taste is impeccable.

It's like when you have to learn the rules before you can break them.
I love many cheap, or ugly guitars, or awkwardly designed guitars, because they are that way, or with a sense of irony.

But silver will always be better than brown, any place, any time.

Here's what I've owned/own.

I started with an Epiphone sunburst because Jimmy Page was my God:

Then I got a Black Ibanez, can't remember what model but it was close to this looks-wise:

Then I got an awesome, bizarre cream colored Tele with a bridge cover by a company called "Pan", seen here:

Then this guitar player friend of the family liked my playing so much that he gave me a '74 Gibson Gold Top from his collection, which can be seen here:
(Here I am playing my friend's little brother's Paul Reed Smith, just because I needed a tremolo on one song, but PRS's suck ass hard.

Then I got a Fender Strat Plus. Strats suck ass but I played it through a Peavey Mega Bass with a Rat pedal and an SPX-50 and got an incredible sound despite itself, seen here:

But then I got into early 70's Glam Rock so I glued mirrors all over it which reflected the lights through the smoke machine awesomely:

Then I got a Variax 700 which changed my life:

and I just recently got a White Epiphone:

Which I had converted into a fretless.


They were and are all superb guitars. You are wrong.

I'm not going to play the guitar equivalent of "My dick is bigger then yours," but your collection says nothing of the fact that you've got poor taste in design as evidenced by your disliking of the beautiful guitars posted earlier.

The J Mascis Signature Edition Jazzmaster. Beauty. Perfection. Rock.

Breakdown and get an American reissue or just spring for a busted ass vintage. Both will play and sound better. Trust me, I'm a huge Jazzmaster fan. They sound like **** but in a good way.
