Sequels should jean,cyclops, pro x be brought back?

No to Jean- Killed in the second movie, brought back in the third, killed in the third, brought back in the fourth. Oh no! People would laugh at the X-MEN franchise, huge disrespect to the characters. A definite no!

No to Cyke- Even though we did'nt really see him die, he just was'nt an interesting character in the movie and didn't play an important part. So why bring him back when we can have some other great characters in the film. No to Cyke, sorry Cyke.

Maybe to Prof. X- I dont know about a Proffesor X in a different body, but if done right they could give him a small part in X4 that would just significantly show him in a new body, let the X-MEN know he's in a new body, just not have alot of screen time. I'd give him the ammount of screentime Colossus had in the third film. So a maybe to Proffesor X (if done right) If not done right, then let's not bother and waste money.

I agree... you have to be practical with movies... sorry fanboys... but there just ain't no way to do it... go find a comic to read if you want to see dead ppl coming back but it can't work on the big screen.

I think everyone who Jean killed could be brout back simply by saying they are trapped in the astral plane, or that their matter was just transported by Jean to some other place. I mean their attoms just kind of flew off into the air, and could easily be placed somewhere else like nightcrawlers teleportation. I mean for a chick who can "do anything she thinks" I'd say its plausable, and Prof X will figure a way to find them.

People are going to hate me for saying this, but "no" to all. If this were a never-ending world like the comics or the animated shows where stories go on forever, fine, but not in the movieverse. In my opinion, it would push the issue of realism too much, plus it would throw out any potential for focusing on other characters.

I say bring them back in flashbacks- for example Scott being recruited, rising to leader, or meeting Jean.

Yes to Professor X because his ressurection was hinted at already at the end of X3, and yes to Cyclops because his death was never really confirmed, only assumed.

I'm torn on Jean...I don't want X3 to stand as the prime Phoenix story, but I don't want her coming back every film. If they are planning on bringing her back, they should hold it off for a few movies.

I would like them back..But Jean is dead and should stay that way,It will make it too comicbooky if she is brought back...Professor X is back already...As for Cyclops,As much of fan I am,I see nothing in the future for this character in other movies...since he was killed in his story line, the pheonix saga, what use does he have in other stories if they gonna do that...NO to Jean, NO to Cycylops...(Although it could take a great writter to alot of explaination for the death) As for now its No to Jean and Cyclops.. and Professor X is already not dead...

They can say he's dead all they want, but no one can confirm that, and there's no reason someone can't have him just walk up in any sequel with any more explanation than "I was thrown into the woods when Jean took over for a split second."

Professor X isn't dead anymore... why this new body sounds like Patrick Stewart is anybody's guess... I think Cassandra Nova had some similar birth defect or something... I can't remember.

Got that right about Scott. It has never been established that he died, and no evidence given. What little we see happening at the end of the Alkali Lake scene is clearly a different effect than the one used when Phoenix is destroying people later in the film. Same deal in the book. Wolverine comes to his own conclusion and presses that thought into others, especially Jean who acts like she's trying to deny it and then gets agitated when Wolverine insists. More than likely there was an accident and he got psy-blasted into the woods, and could be wandering lost and blind around Alkali Lake without his glasses. This isn't coincidence, people

Knowing how some people have a short attention span they probably wouldn't remember what happened in the previous movie unless it was played out to them with flashback scenes or explained using pie charts and sock puppets. Besides,

Xavier should and will come back. Cyclops could possibly come back. It would take a lot of explenation though. It would need to include Sinister somehow. As for Jean, I don't think she should come back, as much as I love her. People would think it was rediculous for her to return again. They should bring her back in X6 if they must bring her back.
