Tim Burton's Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter movie is coming out soon. We have probably all seen a few commercials about it on TV.

And i just heard that xXx director Rob Cohen is making a Sir Isaac Newton action movie:

So, with this seeming to be the way things might end up going in Hollywood, should Marvel make their historical figure action movie about Leonardo Da Vinci from SHIELD?

An action movie about him by Marvel is practically already written.
[BLACKOUT]By the way I forgot to mention that I am sort of being tongue in cheek. I think these movies are a bad idea on the surface, maybe if I watched them and the stories were good, but on the surface it seems like a bad idea all around.[/BLACKOUT]

I would rather see him feature in other character's movies.

I think that's a part of Marvel filmmaking that hasn't occured yet. That's a shame because it would have been awesome for Captain America to meet FDR or have lunch with Marilyn Monroe

Good lord no! I'm high as balls right now and even I think that is a horrible atrocious idea. They should find that idea and it's mother, and all it's idea cousins and round them up and shoot them.

By the way Rob Cohen, Sir Isaac Newton died a virgin. Put that in your action movie.

Only if Ezio Auditore is in it.

Personally, I'd rather see a Jesus Christ action movie, starring Stephen Baldwin.

The movie could be all Steampunk and stuff like City of Lost Children, Brazil, or even Wild Wild West,
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Van Helsing, etc. (smei tongue in cheek)

(I hope this image doesn't get changed from the source,
its the only steampunk looking image I could find.)

His enemy could be an evil Time Travelling Nikola Tesla (heh heh) or not.

Also, by the way, here is Sir Isaac Newton from that comic too. Talk about an action movie:

So Lincoln was a vampire hunter, Newton will be an action hero, and Marvel could make a steampunk action movie about Da Vinci.
And they wouldn't have to work in the SHIELD comic stuff either.
And Liam Neeson can play Da Vinci:

Cap as Forest Gump? Eh.

Also, Marilyn Monroe was either 15 or 16 and still Norma Jean when Cap is supposed to be frozen. That'd be pretty strange for that to happen. :oldrazz:

It actually do think they could have done more with Cap in the USO, but like everything else that was rushed to get him ready for an Avengers movie the next year.

USO was my least favorite part of that film, even though, quality-wise, it was the best part.

I can't get down with an action-Leonardo DaVinci. It'd be interesting, I guess, but I'm just not ready. I couldn't even get through the ancient SHIELD book...

This summer...

get VINCHED!

I take it all back. I want to see them do it just to see the reactions on people's faces.

LoL I would definitely Watch it... Especially if Marvel can link it up with the creators of Assassin Creed... It could end being the coolest Comic/Game film addition ever...

But let it be standalone almost.. Because there is no way you can have easter eggs in it..

But since its highly unlikely, Maybe if they do a SHIELD movie, they can plant a easter egg, hinting about Leonardo Di Vinci as one of the pioneers of SHIELD, see audience reaction, then many years later do it

No because it would fail hardcore. It's a ridicules sounding concept to non marvel comic book readers. What they could do is a Shield movie that basically links the current Shield with an older form of it. Basically adapt the comic but don't make a Leonardo Da Vinci movie.

Also assassins creed Leo is just Leonardo Da Vinci but he actually made his gear for an assassin. That is nothing like the Marvel version.

I actually came up with a serious movie idea that links Captain America to the current SHIELD, it would be a 60s 70s styled movie about a Young Nick Fury. Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD and feature an old veteran Dum Dum Dugan who trains Fury. It would link and explain more about the past of all the films too.

But this was more a tongue in cheek thing. There is Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter and apparently Sir Isaac Newton Action Hero. So why not use Marvel's Leonardo character from SHIELD? heh.

This has an Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter feel to it.
