The Dark Knight Should Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox have larger role in TDK?

yeah, as long as there is consistency, not too much of a leap, i wouldnt mind...they could add more details about him though, that he has a family *hint, hint* yay!!!!

Fox could really help with the detective aspect of batman. Thats a blatant opportunity that I hope they use at some point.

Fox will probably end up taking the place of Harold - he will know who Batman is and will help with the covering up of Bruce borrowing all the goodies that Wayne Enterprises has to offer.........

Yep that could be covered also... fox has his methods... it sounds like he knows everything about how to dupe the electronics etc at W.E. The lack of people knowing about their failed prototypes much stored and forgotten down there in the "dead end", paired with perhaps other companies making very similar vehicles could help in this way imo.

What I do expect out of them, though... is Lucius Fox can not be a "Q" for Bruce/Bats. The cool thing about the comics is that Bruce is always creating all these different things for his arsenal.... Lucius should be there to assist, not do.

the only reason he was able to fit BB into his schedule was because it was such a small role. my guess is that the max time he'll have in TDK is what he had in BB.

I was thinking about how Fox could be more involved with the next two sequels.

Fox gave Bruce/BATMAN a good start by suppying Bruce with everything he needed to accomplish as Batman. I think Fox would be helping him out even more since Fox was promoted at the end of the first film.

Honestly as much as I love Freeman, I wouldn't want anymore time than he had in BB. One of my gripes is Bruce didn't get the chance to do a lot of things himself. We really didn't see that detective aspect of the character.

So imo, keep Lucius as a board member at Wayne Enterprises, who'll give Bruce access/advice on certain "prototypes" here and there. Nothing more. I want Bruce on his own this time.

It should be clear that Fox runs the company and keeps Wayne on top of things, but his role doesn't need to be that big otherwise.

Lucias said himself it was a dead end and he was put there to keep him shut up. They could probably just catalogue the items and keep it like a vault.

As for his involvement his screen time in begins was about right this time around it should be able to be reduced some. Just have him keep Bruce appraised of certain developments, and "new toys".

During the re-building of the Foundations Bruce should be able to have a decent facility built. Then I think we'll see the detective aspect a little more.

Freeman made a great job with Fox (I really liked this character), so I'd like for him a bit more important role in sequels

I suppose Bruce will get the stuff he needs for a Bat-computer from Fox. That makes sense.

I sincerely hope Freeman will return for this movie. He is just one of those things that made BB more special.

I agree. I would still want to see a role equal to BB for Freeman though. He's just to good an actor.
