There's been much talk recent years about the 'abolishment' of ANY comic code...remember when they used to show that symbol on covers? There's much implied intimacy going on, and people often make threads fantasizing about what their heroes look like in the buff. Question is, would you really want to see anything graphic? Some books out now really push the envelope, although they are generally rated mature. Most of the time its tastefully done without showing anything exactly, but what if some crazy editor (hmm. JQEI, perhaps?) decides to start controversy with this would you buy the book? it might make the peepers
happy, but would it 'push' across a wide audience?
BTW, I never understood the letter of the law regarding the comic code. You know, like what is allowed and what isn't? There must be a guideline somewhere.
