Superman Returns Should SR have come out in 07' instead? Whether you like it or not...

I've always felt like everything happened a bit fast. Boom SINGER is hired, boom over a weekend an entire script is basically prepared, boom (ala Madden) shooting begins, boom release date announced... etc

Even with the final product being very good, now that I think about it... It feels like it happened a bit fast. I feel the movie could have used a little more prep time. A January release in 2007 would have been interesting.

I know we've waited countless years for a new Superman movie, maybe that had something to do with the speedy nature of SR's production... Hell I was anxious for it to come out and was glad in one way it came together rather quick. BUT seeing how much footage they shot, and seeing all the great extras taken out, hmm... Maybe a little more prep time wouldn't have hurt. It would have only made a good movie even better.

I don't think it shoudve waited, because there is no way it will beat Spidey 3.

Spidey 3 comes out 4 months after January. The dvd would almost be out then

Nah, but a fall or winter release date might of been good.

No, I think if anything it should have come out after Pirates 2, but not in 2007....Yes we lost some scenes but oh well they'll be on the DVD won't they? Some anyways. The movie COULD have used more prep time but I suppose WB did not want to wait anymore to get the franchise off the ground again.

Whenever SR comes out, I don't think I will be able to like it more or less if it's still basically the same movie.
