The Dark Knight Should TDK have a scene in The Funhouse?

The Shadow had one. I know the comics had a least two(TKJ and DKR). "The Batman" had one(which sucked). The Teen Titans had one. I can't think of anymore, but I know they're are more out they're.

But, if they are going to do a hall of mirrors fight, I would prefer it to be like The Shadow's or Enter the Dragon's, where the hero "discovers" the hall of mirrors, like it's part of the buildings layout, instead of it being a carnival ride. Give it an organic feel.

the man with the golden gun had one as well.

I forgot that one. I'll remember that next time I approach the subject of villains and mirror rooms.

Okay so thats 3 or 4 movies with Hall of Mirror fight scenes. Thats means having a hall or mirrors fight scene would be to much of a cliche? Nah...

Doesn't have to be just movies. We may not be able to recall a tons of instances in which the scene has been recreated, but the point is, we know it's been damn multiple times. I'd like to see something more creative..

The fact that Batman was openly laughing and embracing the Joker ruined Batman for the entire story to me. Batman would not do that. After what he did to Barbara and Jim the Batman should of been going fairly ape**** on the Joker, or atleast take him down quickly and swiftly. The thing is though that if I don't like the Batman in a Batman story, the story is a bit ruined for me.

It's a great Joker story, hell its a great Jim Gordan story. But I do not understand its placement among the top 2 or 3 Batstories of all time.
I agree, I think it would have worked if they just left it at the "Heh...", but he started cracking up.

Nah...hall of mirror scenes haven't been done enough on film for them to be considered "cliches". They can still have a hall of mirror scene and it can still be done with some creativity and originality. Come on....

i'd be all for a scene in the fun house....especially if the joker is blasting the stooges "funhouse" over speakers.

I would prefer Joker in a rundown theater (preferably the one Bruce and his parents went that fateful evening), perhaps with an old set used in a rendition of the Opera "Pagliacci" still on stage.

Funhouse would be too soon. the guy is just starting out.

...that would be a bit convenient.

Not really. I imagine after the Waynes where murdered, the theatre they went to probabley suffered hard times, branded as being in an unsafe, crime filled part of town. It's not much of a stretch to think, in the years Bruce was away, they went out of business because of it.

Abandoned, suffering years of neglect, it would make a perfect hideout for a theatrical criminal like The Joker.

Well it doesn't have to be a hideout.....just a way for him to try and trap the Dark Knight. A place where the Joker would think he would have the advantage.

A mirror room sequence would be cool.but what I'd really like to see is the Tunnel Of Love sequence.:yay:

That would be intersting to see. But I think this scene would take Joker again back to the past of Bruce and give hints of him connected with the murder of Bruce's parents. You know, something like what was used in B89 and is going to be used in Spidey 3.

You all seem to be forgetting the very last panel of The Killing Joke, where he stops laughing and grabs Joker by the throat. He laughs for a bit, then just grabs him. It's not like they go out for a drink afterwards.
That doesn't happen. He puts his hand on his shoulder. And the very last panel is rain.

The Joker, as seen, had absolutely nothing to do with the Waynes' murder. It was at random. The significance of The Joker's lair being the same theatre as the one where his parents murdered will fall on Bruce alone.

It would be an interesting idea, if used. To fight this new enemy, he'll have to go back to where it began.

I'd like an old abandoned Vaudeville kinda theater with broken mannequins as the "audience"...That would be cool...
