Let's assume they manage to resign Tobey & the crew for another film. Wouldn't it make sense to film 2 or 3 films back to back while Tobey can still be convincing in the role? He is getting old. I'd hate to see them start a whole new storyline in part 4 and then watch Tobey walk in part 5. There's little risk since the movies all make money so just film 2 or 3 back to back which will give you plenty of time afterwords to starting looking for fresh blood.

They should definitely film part 4 & 5 back to back,it would be a good investment for the studio, for Tobey, for everyone basically.

I would actually love that idea. Obviously there's no way Toby could do three more that are spaced apart like the first three have been... back to back (to back) would be the only way. I'd love to see three more films, as would a lot of fans, and I'd love to see them with all the same actors (at least one!) It seems like it would really be a long shot, but it would also be pretty much ideal.

its very possible tobey can star in three more, he wouldnt be that old.

^ Not spaced out every 3 years he couldn't. He's already starting to look a bit old. I think he could make it work if they spent 2 years or whatever it takes to film another 2-3 films and then release one in the Summer and one during XMAS or the following Summer. This would give the studio plenty of time to start looking for fresh blood and if it took 4 years to get another film off after that it'd would be worth it. I love Raimi but at some point were gonna want to see a different directors vision of Spidey.

I'd be for it, and yes it would be more convenient for the actors/studio if they were to agree to it.

assuming there is a worthwhile plot and everyone signs back on then it would make perfect sense to do them back to back while they all fit the part still
