Not sure how I feel about this. He will be in the finale no doubt, but I'd rather not have him confront Batman...save that for a third film.

What I think doesn't matter. Before production started, if someone asked me whether I'd like the Joker with long, curly hair, I'd have laughed in their face. Now that I've seen Heath's Joker I think it's one of the greatest ideas ever.

Would I like Two-Face in the grand finale? I think so, yeah - but which ever route Nolan has chosen to take, I have faith in his execution.

AMEN

I think there will be no cliffhanger, I'm doubtful Nolan would do that as he's not committed to a third film, so I think Two Face will be involved in some way in the finale, however brief.

My prediction:

After Batman and The Joker square off, Batman meets Gordon on the rooftop much like the first movie. Two-Face then confronts them and after some brief dialogue, he allows them to arrest him ala The Long Halloween.

Just because Two-Face in the finale doesn't mean they're pulling a "Sandman-Venom" thing. The Joker is the main villain for the majority of the movie. I don't have a problem with a final confrontation between Batman and Joker and then another climactic confrontation between Batman and Two-Face. It could be a very Long Halloween-esque conclusion.
