I think Two Face should be saved for the 3rd movie but there are circulating rumors that

he might be involved in a hostage situation with Gordon's family and captured at the end of the movie

I think having Face involved in the finale will take away from the Joker. The Joker is too important a villain to have a Sandman/Venom thing going on. I think he should be the only monumental villain and have Two Face saved for the third movie.

We don't see Two-Face till nearly the end of the movie anyhow, so it doesn't really make a difference. This film's villain is the Joker and then Two-Face shows up at the end.

Sure. But the main villain is The Joker, and I'd like to see a satisfying finish for him.

Harvey is the "backbone of the movie"; he needs to be involved in the finale in some way.

I think that they are going to do a ending the same way that they did for the BB movie.

Cliffhanger and leading the way for another movie. I think that we will see the clip of the "I thought you were dead" scene at the very end of the movie and then we see the roll of the credits.

That is just my theory.

I think it's two separate confrontations that occur. With the finale involving Harvey, Gordon and Batman.

Even if Harvey is imprisoned in Arkham, he could always escape and tearass through gotham in part 3......

I want to see Batman vs The Joker mono e mono. Save Two Face for the 3rd film but tease the fans a little by showing him a little.

Yeah i want the final scenes of the film to involve Joker in some way.

I aGREE i would prefer it if it was just joker and bats in the end
but nolan will do a good job getting two face into that mix
hopefully it occurs before the final standoff which ultimately leads to joker and bats

and then right at the end a hint that two face is in jail or escaped

or seperate confrontations would be best
and preferably two face is prior to jokers.

i thought it was common knowledge on these boards that two face is in the end.
with the viral sites making numerous hints at it (the pumpkin last halloween being the most obvious) it should come as no surprise that two face has a role in this film.

if anything I think his role has been down played and he will play a much larger part in the film both time wise and his impact in the story

lol i thiers a cliffhanger, how cool would it be to have tdk and batman 3 at the same time like batman 3 in december.

i wouldnt like it. i cant stand when films to that. it hurt matrix and pirates, they are the only ones I can think of now.

I find that when you make two films at the same time that they both suffer. they both loss context and substance. i think it really messes them up. plus they always feel rushed.

Should he? I don't know. If they had a good way to stick him in, then why not?

well, I dont know if they mean he's involved in the finale in a Venom/sandman way but there can be two things going on at once. I mean there could be the finale "proper" where Bats and Mr.J have their major final confrontation, and thats the prime focus, meanwhile amongst the chaos Two Face is delivering his own brand of vigilante justice to the crooked cops and the mob and, unable to contact Batman, Gordon goes after him alone. Ideally I would have Batman and the Joker having a really brutal fight...I mean Spiderman one brutal where Bats' armour is peeled away so the Jokers blows count and there is genuine peril there-knife woulds, viscous blows to the face etc. In the mean time Two Face has cornered Maroni ala TLH and killed all his underlings...Gordon arrives and the two have it out (Oldmans big scene with two-face he mentioned in an interview). The Bats and Mr.J fight comes to a close with either Joker carted off to Arkham or having a moment where it looks like he's dead...but its left competely open. You know, like they did all the time in the animated series where he falls into a river or is left in a burning building or something. Bats then cleans up and tries to find Gordon. But by this time Face has flipped his coin and....well, tough for Maroni if you know what I mean. He's then slipped Gordon and escaped, the vision of Gothams white knight truly destroyed. The end scene then have Batman reinstated a a hero for saving gotham from the Joker but the city shaken after word of what has happened Dent. Bats and Gordon meet and Batman vows to bring Harvey back, for better or for worse. For, not to sound too cheesy, without the hope for a hero with a face like Harvey Dent, the city now depends completely on its Dark Knight! The we have another agonising wait for part three!

It was never just a rumor, it came from the call sheets to begin with then Oldman mentioned it.

Seems fine to me, a final Batman/Joker setpiece then a somber wrapup with the shattered crimefighting trio

I don't think the city'll be particularly enamored with Batman at the end, Joker's just put him through a 2 hour PR smear

I would personaly love a Two-Face finale, it's a very good twist. Yes let Joker bow out nicely, get him imprisoned and such maybe....but, I think in the final 10 minutes you have a big turn of events with Two-Face and at the last second, tada a lil Joker scene just to give folks a smile when they leave.

No. The final confrontation should be solely Batman vs Joker. Have Two Face as a cliffhanger/set up for the third movie.

If the story arc of TDK is as much about Harvey as we've been led to believe, I think it only makes sense that Two-Face is present at the last confrontation.

The white knight who's been corrupted, the dark knight, and the pure evil Joker... Honestly I see Batman stopping Harvey from killing Joker and apprehending both of them.... And as I said in another thread I think there's a decent chance Two-Face is NOT the primary villain in a potential third installment.

Two-Face is in the finale whether you think he should be or not. From Gary Oldman:

Oldman: Right. Well, without going into the plot or going beat by beat, there's more, I guess, an emotional arc with this one and this big, big scene that I have in the finale with Two-Face. I'm better used in this one. (Laughs)

I think people are confused between finale (as in final clearing-up scenes) and final battle.

for the 3rd it should be The Riddler and Two-Face (I Wish Penguin)

for the 3rd it should be The Riddler and Two-Face (I Wish Penguin)
Unless Two-Face is hunting Riddler down and trying to kill him, I'd highly prefer they stay away from that pairing for obvious reasons.

im suddenly getting a bad feeling about the ending:csad:

I still think that it would be awesome if Two-Face would confront Gordon in the very end of the movie while Batman fights The Joker. You know, almost kills him or something(heads he lives, tails he dies). And then afterwards Gordon could report Batman that Harvey is still alive but that he's a changed man and very dangerous.

The entire Batman/Two-Face conflict should be saved for the third movie IMO.

two facewill simply be a cliffhanger for the end
