I was thinking about this last night. We all complain about the emmys continuously snubbing our favorite shows so why not have some of our own awards for fun?
Ideas for categories? Mine are:
Best drama
Best actor(drama)
Best actress(drama)
Best supporting actor
best supporting actress
best comedy
Best actor(comedy)
best actress(comedy)
best supporting actor(comedy)
Best supporting actress(comedy)
Best animated series
Best voiceover actor
Best voiceover actress
Favorite tv moment of 2009(comedy)
Favorite tv moment of 2009(drama)
Best wtf moment of 2009
Best action scene
Best cliffhanger
Most improved series(drama)
MOst improved series(comedy)
Best reality series
Show that most needs to go off the air(any)
I work a lot so I don't think I want to run this thing but does anyone else think this is a cool idea? I think it could be a lot of fun to see what we all collectively think is good on tv compared to...well..non net, non hype people lol. I'd propose we nominated 5-10 nominees per category. That way we'd have a pretty wide spectrum of material. The only requirement is that it comes from a show that aired in 2009.
