Sequels Should X-Men be split in two?

No, it would be pointless. We'll have a good core team of Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Storm, and Nightcrawler (and maybe 1 or 2 more additions at a later point) to move forward with. Why split them up?

They can all still live at the mansion. Cameos at breakfast would be great. Summertime barbecue or baseball like the comics.

So the Avengers splitting up and two different rosters for Infinity War shouldn't happen then.

Splitting the X-Men team into two teams (1 that stays in the mansion and 1 that flies accross the globe) would be cool!

If they decide to go back to the present days, they should enforce that so everybody would get their time to shine.

Team Storm: Phoenix, Angel, Iceman, Colossus, Nightcrawler
Team Cyclops: Beast, Psylocke, Rogue, Gambit, Shadowcat

Then the other team would cameo. Then for the three quel, both teams are in the movie for regular roles.
