I'd say I shower twice every three days. If people want to call me dirty because of that, that's ridiculous. Especially in the winter, too many hot showers will dry out your skin and cause irritation.

There is a difference between not taking a shower every day and being dirty, you can still clean up the intimate part, arm pits etc.

This might sound disgusting but because of the water bill and how they charge so much in our city I only shower when I have to go out and associate with humanity.

I do that when I am on leave ( holidays ) at home not because of the water bill but to replenish my skin protection.
French are often seen as people with a dubious hygiene, it is mostly an American cliché about us. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Same. I tend to shower a minimum of once a day but every so often I might skip a day if I had a shower late the night before.

Even if I'm clean (by which I mean I don't get truly dirty or sweaty) I still like to get one to just feel refreshed and relaxed.

I can't speak for anyone else, but if I have to have interactions for extended periods with other people, especially if they are not close friends or family, then it is shower time so... At least one shower every work day. If I know Inam mostly going to be home on days off... Sure I might go without a full body wash, but even then your own stink or lack of feeling "clean" would prompt me to take one at some point.
