Second of all. Im lucky enough to be able to shower every day, so why wouldn't I? Showering feels good, let's you smell good.

Im not worried about getting dried skin because I get dry skin even if I shower.
And I dont really care much if a dermatologists recommend every 2 or 3 days. If I was going to do every single thing a doctor or whoever researches announces to the public, I'd be miserable.

I dont see why, if you have the means, why wouldnt you shower everyday? Your skin gets dry? Get shea butter, cocoa butter, or lotion.

Sometimes Im surprised by some people's hygiene habits. There was a kid in my college who didnt shower for upwards of 5 days some weeks. And guess what he f***ing stank and no one wanted to hang around him. I knew another kid who doesnt wash his hands after taking a dump. And then there are people who don't wear deodorant and some of those people live active lifestyles.

I usually shower before I go to work although some days I do sleep in and then it's not possible. On my days off I usually skip the shower since I'm just chilling in my room for most of the day. But there have been points in my life where I didn't shower for a very long time.

Relax, she didn't implied anything about black people but ethnic people as a whole ( I assume she's only talking about the US ) which is even worst in fact....

But why would you shower everyday? Throughout the day you do things that make you dirty. Why not wash it off?

Whether you stink or not youre still dirty. Why not shower? For sure, stinking is worse but still if you have the means, why not shower?

There has to be a better argument for not showering other than "why would you?"

Usually I can just say: Whatever they live their life their way, I'll live mine. BUt i just think it's gross that people do some disgusting hygeine things and then go out in the world. Call me crazy.

This is slightly off topic, but I mentioned in my earlier post I know/knew a dude who doesnt wash his hands after a s***. Then he gives pounds, handshakes, touches door knobs. That's just gross to me. I wouldnt call myself a neat freak but that's gross
One of my best friend doesn't brush his teeth in the morning. He just uses gum and then he wants to drink from my same water bottle/cup. And eventually the gum fades and his breath just smells bad.

Speaking about myself, I work in an office, I don't do any physical activity in the day beside walking for 10 minutes in the morning ( not a race ), so I take a bath every morning go to my office and come back home. Unless I feel it, I will not take another bath for I am not dirty after work.

I am black and I take a shower daily. I don't like to smell bad for long periods of time and it's gross to go days without showering.

Depends. I've only went more than three days without a shower when I was severely injured twice in my life. Showering was just hard due to the injuries and I wasn't getting out of bed and leaving the house so I showered once a week. I still washed my hair in the sink tho and wiped down the important bits with a rag and soap.

As for normal circumstances it depends on my daily activities. In winter I can shower every other day if I don't do anything strenuous and don't sweat.

In the summer I shower at least daily. There is no way around it. I work outside in the South and sweat like a pig in the summer and the environment I work in is dusty and filthy so that grime sticks to the sweat on my skin and I come home most nights with a layer of dirt and grit attached to me. Showering is a must.

Erry morning. I got this almond shower cream that makes me smell peachy before I leave for work.

My hands also get dry, but I use Purol for that.
