No word on Nick Frost appearing but when he says "those guys" I imagine Nick is in that circle.

I hope stylistically it doesn't revert too far from the three previous films and Spaced.

Though Wright appears to be turning into the new Del Toro with Wright only just announcing two other projects with Sony and Working Title surely one of them wont get made. He currently has Grasshopper Jungle, Baby Driver and this one in the works.

Yeah, Del Toro got an unbreakable, Joe DiMaggio like record in terms of projects on his to-do list.

Most of which won't be done. I am still very upset about the Emma Watson Beauty and the Beast project getting ditched. :csad:

That one would have been and was one of the ones I was looking forward too most. The ones I'd prefer the most (that and Justice League Dark) are most likely never going to be made.

This article also says that Wright and Pegg plan on making three more movies together. Another trilogy, but different, perhaps?

Another trilogy would make me happy. Just watched The Worlds End last night and instantly thought...MORE.

Honestly, I thought The Worlds End was the weakest of the trilogy. I found it okay, but I don't think it's close to as good as Hot fuzz or Shaun of the Dead.

^ Me too, though I've only seen it once (about a week ago) and it took me two viewings to really love the other two movies for some reason. But the serious/comedy balance, and the suburban adventure/alien invasion balance both felt off to me.

Yeah, I'd say it was the weakest too but I still loved it!

Instead of Cornetto, could it be the Good Humor Trilogy? The Godiva Magnum Trilogy?

Good news, I was hoping they'd continue working together.

I'll be honest, Edgar is kinda becoming the next Del Toro with all of these announcements, haha. But can you blame him? For every 10 projects you get attached to, only 2 might get the green light.

Personally, I predict that Wright is going to direct Star Wars: Episode 9. Before that, he'll direct something smaller, to his liking.

I hope you are right. That would be a dream come true for me. :awesome:

I love, love, love The World's End. It isn't quite as good as Hot Fuzz, but I find it to be a better film then Shaun of the Dead, which is also great.

All of Wright's films are top notch imo, with Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World being the cream of his most delicious crop. Scott Pilgrim is in my top 10 favorite films (I adore it), while Hot Fuzz is in my top 25. But really, I love all of Wright's work.
