I thought it'd be kinda contrived to keep Katrina away from Crane.(Essentially,that's the whole show for Crane-getting Katrina back) I guess they handled it well enough for now.

Reyes is right now what Irving was in the first two episodes. She's a non-believer right now as Irving was in the first two episodes. Remember in episode three, he saw the Horseman with his own two eyes. Until Reyes sees the Horseman or Moloch with her own two eyes, she's a non-believer.

When she does encounter The Horseman, which will be much harder for her to handle? The Horseman or Francis Underwood? Remember she was also on House of Cards.

I love that they've contrived a way to give Neil Jackson more lines and screen time while also saving a few bucks on the headless SFX. It definitely makes his scenes with Katrina more dynamic.
 
Did anyone else laugh when they showed Franklin, Washington, and Katrina together wearing those witch robes? I love how ridiculous this show is.

Jackson's pretty easy on the eyes too so it's a double win for the audience. :yay:

I love it too. Its amazing the show is so good. It could have been an absolute mess.
 
Another quality episode, loved the battle between HH, WAR and The Kindred, great stuff on a TV budget, I'm sure The Kindred will be back to aid Abbie and Crane at some point.

I saw the plot device with Katrina as being as much about keeping the duo of Crane & Abbie as a central focus than keeping Ichabod from fulfilling his goal, as even if he does save Katrina it doesn't end his mission against Moloch.

Poor Jenny is in trouble, not sure how they can explain away her having a bag full of guns.

Irvine signed that document in blood at the end, right? If so I wonder if it was some sort of contract for his soul, Henry is a devious one and it was a surprising twist when he showed up as Irvine's unknown laywer.

I love that they take at least a scene each week to have a humorous discussion between Crane and Abbie about some modern appliance or practice that he can be either bemused by or rant about. :D

His whole "you are the problem with society" rant to the credit card guy had me rolling.:funny:

And I have to hand it to the actor. Some of the dialogue and rants he has to give cant be easy. Full of archaic words and grammar. Id be tongue tied.

That's a good point, it's not like the rants are standard words, he has to deliver these passionate outbursts using what is kind of a foreign language lol.

I still watch all my tv on tv, but its all dvr'd. I cant stand commercials and wont watch any show live unless its on a premium channel with no commercials.

Id probably watch this show live just to contribute to its ratings cause I love the show so much, but it comes on right in the middle of my work shift so I cant.:(
 
At what point are studious going to start adjusting the ratings system? They have to realize that they are getting a lot of people watching their popular shows, just not at the time they air because it's so much more convenient to w

Anywho, I too loved the battle. Good fight choreography, though I did find leaving Katrina behind fairly contrived. How is she going to get messages to Crane and Abbey?
 
Some are adjusting their rating system. Some are no longer tracking single night ratings, but instead are tracking 3 days and 7 days and a number of studios count On Demand viewership now. Fox has switched to a Live+3 or Live+7 night rating system I think. Sawyer, knows more about it than I do.

I don't know what the financing is on the show, but that can't look all that good to Fox. Frankly I just don't understand why it lost such a chunk of its audience.

That is odd. I mean, the break between the seasons wasn't crazy long or anything. I don't understand it either.
 
Monday night is very competitive. People are just watching other things at this time
 
Let's wait and see how the ratings go for the rest of the season before panicking
