I like this new dude. Hope they keep him around as a foil for Crane.

And goddamn does Beharie look good tonight.

It would of been funny if Henry's business card said 'War Attorney at Law'.

Matt Barr is his name. He was good in underrated slasher mystery show Harper's Island and was on the shortlist to play Barry Allen in CW's Flash.

Question: I’m really sad to hear that the ratings for Sleepy Hollow have thus far been less than stellar this season. I will be even sadder if it gets cancelled. Should we be worried? —Ross
Ausiello: No one is a bigger worrier than yours truly, Ross, and I’m not the least bit concerned about the axe falling on Ichabod and Abbie. While it’s true Sleepy has been losing a decent chunk of its Gotham lead-in, the fact is Fox loves and is completely committed to the show. Also, let’s face it, the network has bigger Utopia residents fish to fry. BONUS SCOOP: A series regular tells TVLine there will be a “power vacuum” in the second half of the season, and said vacuum “will be fought for.” Log your thoughts about what that might mean — and who’ll do the fighting — in the comments.

I think the fortune hunter guy will definitely show up again, I see him not only irritating Ichabod but also maybe striking up a relationship with Jenny.

I'm also getting the feeling that they might have Katrina side with her son and end up killed off this season as she is the proverbial 3rd wheel.

I enjoy Crane's rants but the set up this week was poor, I mean no one would actually ask to see ID in a pub for a guy clearly over 30.

The fortune hunter guy, Nick Hawley was seen in the photos for the next episode.

Yeah I found that very odd.

Sleepy Hollow 2x04 Promo "Go Where I Send Thee..."

[YT]mn4H0Tj2Jdo[/YT]That looks like an interesting take on the Pied Piper.

Youd be surprised. My dad is 49 and has a full grey beard. He's been ID'd multiple times. Most places have the rule "if they look over 40 dont ID them", and most waiters and waitresses follow the rule. But on occassion you get a waiter or waitress who's all about the ID. I just wanna look at them and say "are you stupid?" when they ID my dad.

I've never had a waitress ask for ID's after the beers were already on the table tho. I mean seriously whats she gonna do if Crane just downs the beer? Call the cops? :funny:

That wouldn't shock me either. And if that happens, you can be damn sure that shippers will be wanting Ichabod & Abby together almost immediately.

While I wouldn't be opposed to such a scenario, it is refreshing that their friendship isn't played as a romantic cat & mouse game. I fully expect it to happen at some point though haha.

Also, final thought on the episode - I really loved the scene where Ichabod is looking at the two guys in the restaurant and getting all indignant, but it turns out it's all about wearing hats indoors and not what Abby expected. Great little bait and switch moment.

With Abby, is where my mind went during the episode. She's been romance free the entire series. There was the latino cop ex-boyfriend but that was over when they introduced him and Sulu's obsession with her is just creepy not romantic.

I don't see where she would get killed, but I think the last episode has sown the seeds of her possibly turning against them.(some subconscious jealousy against Abby + Judas Coin = Evil Katrina)

nah I think she's here to stay they'll just make her a bit more evil give Ichabod one more problem to deal with and maybe she'll get a love interest that ain't the horseman.:funny:

:funny: Wow! Man they must be much more stringent about the ID thing in the US than they are here, that's crazy, but I guess it kinda makes that scene work better for me lol.

I don't know how strong the shipping brigade is for Abbie and Ichabod but their dynamic at least hints at that possibility and having a wife in the mix takes away any option for the writers to even play with the dynamic. I am not fussed either way I just think they will remove Katrina to give themselves that option.

Agreed on the bait and switch scene. :D

I just felt Jenny had more in common with him, both sort of used to living on the move with a somewhat similar survival of number 1 mentality.

I think killing her to save Abbie or maybe even prevent something world shattering from happening if she turned, will be the big dramatic punch for crane this season.

Yeah, its pretty ridiculous. By law you're supposed to ID everyone regardless of how old they look, but it really depends on how brave or experienced the waiter or waitress is.

IDK if they do it where you live (probably not), but over here in my state, North Carolina, police officers can get minors under 21 off the street to go into a restaurant or bar and try to order a beer or just some kind of alcoholic beverage. If the bartender or waitress doesn't ID the kid and sells the teen alcohol the cop can come in and ticket the waitress and the establishment. Through some really crooked BS its not considered entrapment. My sis was fired from her first bar job because a cop pulled that ****.

It's insane sometimes. Some people get sooooo pissed off when you ask them. And there are cops who will act the same way to test you. When I had a job that involved carding, I think it contributed to the stress.

I think it's obviously about some kind of rule they adhere to for their own benefit if they're carding dudes that look like they're 50.

what?... are you implying that Ichabod looks over 50?!?... if you're talking about Ichabod, that's rubbish, he doesn't look ANYTHING like he's close to 50...
