It happened with me tonight. It started snowing at 4:00, and the people just flocked to get groceries. It's amazing.

I also had fill up propane tanks for people in the cold.

That doesn't sound very safe...

Watching the news here in Philly, and they mentioned a couple things: We've had more snow so far this year than the past 4 COMBINED. It's also snowed more here than in Boston or Maine....AND We've got another potential storm coming on MONDAY!! WTF??!?!?!?

When I worked retail, I was always amazed by what the snow did to people.

People act like they're gonna be snowed in for two week and won't be able to get any supplies or anything. And nothing usually comes of it.

The temperature has now dropped to 10, windchills in the negatives. Winds are sustained at 15-20 with gusts up to 40. And it's started snowing again!

Here in my part of Ohio, we got another 6 inches...with more expected over night. From this storm and the last, we've got about 10-12 on the ground so far.

What part of Ohio are you in? I'm in the SE corner of it in Marietta.

Yep. The school I teach at. Which means, I basically have to drive home thorugh a bilzzard tonight.
