Cash-grab. Meatloaf was a dime-store novelty item in his prime (Rocky Horror Picture Show aside) at best, now he's just raking in a few extra bucks pedeling bad nostalgia.

If you don't like him, fine, but novelty acts don't have multiple albums on the charts for a decade each.

Also, this album was planned for a while and was pushed back and put on hold many times, its not like last year he decided he wanted a last grab at money.

And wait, of anything he did wouldn't a cameo in Rocky Horror singing a 50s nostalgia song be the biggest novelty thing he did?

I haven't heard it, but from what I've read of reviews in Entertainment Weekly and such, it's only about so-so.

I got it today. I like it. It's not as good as the first 2, but it's still a good album. Definitely worth the $9.50 I got it for. As would be expected, the best songs are the ones written by Jim Steinman.

It was written for Meat Loaf when he was originally doing Bat Out of Hell 3 back in the '80s, but that got shelved, so Jim Steinman gave it to Celine Dion instead. She came out with her version ~1995.
