Is the US government out of control?

Experiencing the results makes it first hand knowledge.
No it doesn't if its filtered through a middle man. If that were true than reading someone's autobiography is first hand. Unless he is directly involved in the corruption the only way he knows is to read about it. Seeing the effects doesn't mean anything if you cannot see the source. Smoke coming through a doorway could be fire, or it could be a smoker, or it could be a smoke machine.

For sometime now iv been asking myself this question. With its huge spending on military opertations, spying on its citizens, creations of uncountable laws/bans/censors "for the good of the people" seemingly everyday, are we becomming 1984? Is democracy working as out forefathers had hoped it would or would they now be rebelling against a monster of there own creation?

Ive heard rumors that the USA has plans to conqure the world under Bush`s command. The country has become corrupt, and no one seems to notice.Something has to be done if this does continue,i can see the USA choking the world in its death grip...

Unless you were in that meeting that they had where G. W. said they were going into Iraq for oil you arent witnessing anything.....infact it is your own biased perception
