Batman Begins So how did Ra's Al Ghul Know

He kinda knows everything. He has his baldies all over the world finding out things for him.

If that's the case than anyone could know who Batman is, just hire some bald asian dudes to tail him everywhere.

Well I'm pretty sure Ra's could make an educated guess if nothing else. A man dressed as a bat, (Which I'm sure Ra's knew was his fear, also a symbol instead of a man). Works in the shadows and incorporates alot of Ra's teachings, and arrives after Bruce leaves Ra's. It wouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

Ra's recognized the League of Shadows' 3 points bracelets (or whatever the right word is).

That Bruce Wayne is Batman ?

How did Ras' know he was Batman in the comics?

He's head of a global organization, and equipped with resource.

He was smart enough to figure it out on his own.

Besides, in the Begins universe, Batman uses the same methods taught to him by Ducard/Ras' so it would've been easy for Ras' to put two and two together.

I mean it was set up that even Lucius Fox had it figured out, so it's clear that Ras' could find out easily.

CFE

he knew because that's how it was written in the script :o

Yeah but he seems surprised when he first lays eyes on Batman. He must of guessed on the spot.

If he seemed surprised, it's because he left him for dead in a burning house. He had already known before then that Bruce was Batman.

That too. He probably heard rumors of it but when he see's him he says "You took my advise about theatricality a little too far" or something along those lines.

Yeah, that's what I assumed--a guy from Gotham with a fear of bats learns Ra's moves and then suddenly there's a guy in Gotham with Ra's moves calling himself "Batman?" You'd have to be pretty dumb not to put two and two together--and Ra's al Ghul is not dumb.

I always thought it was more amusement, espicially the way he says, "It seems that you took my advice on theatricality a bit literally." Ra's probably didn't think Bruce would follow him in body armor with horns, a cape and a big bat symbol on his chest.

And think about the reason Bruce left the League. "I will go and fight men like these, but I will not become an executioner"

And Lo and Behold, there's a vigilante in Gotham.

Remember, Ras targeted Gotham before and there is this ninja-like vigilante attempting to mess with his operations.

I think he figured it out pretty quick.

would've been funny if bruce wayne hasn't been Batman and R'as would look like an idiot to assume that he was Batman. :(

Ra's watched Batman and Robin on the flight to Gotham

Yup, that's the one!

Because a global organization like the League of Shadows would be so worried by a secondary city in the US???? (Sorry but if it isnt LA or NY it's a secondary city). That would be like Osama Bin Laden planning to destroy Spokane, Washington
