So, I detected a virus while downloading something off of torrents.

I've got AVG Free edition 7.5 if that helps and when I was 98 percent finished with downloading photoshop it detected a virus. I told it to kill the bug and it it finished downloading in two seconds (before I could even tell it to stop).

I scanned it again and it comes up with no problems. Should I open it?

Torrents are too slow, I use Rapidshare link downloads, full speed.

try and uninstall it. if you can, do a full system scan. then install photoshop again and if you get that message again, do a full system scan and a individual scan on the program. don't forget to check the where you got the torrent if any users posted bad comments.

I only download porn from rapidshare, lol. If you're not getting good speeds with torrents, it's usually not the fault of the torrent.

Anyway sometimes virus detectors detect things like keygens or some s**t as a threat and whatnot. Unless you're downloading from a shady site don't get your panties all up in a "wTF shouLd I DO?!/!/ it Said FVIRUS!!"
