Some plot devices I'd like to see more of...

Deadpool!

I liked the narration by Daredevil as well.

I think narration has been missing from the Batman movies. I mean, Batman is always narrating in his comics, why not translate that to film? Give it that film-noir vibe.

I don't think you're gonna see that in a Nolan Batman film. Otherwise he'd have used it by now. Best hope would be that the next person to helm the Batman franchise does something like that. Of course it requires that said narration be well written. Otherwise we'll get the silly narrative lines like in Sin City(which is still a good film but so many of the lines are poorly written).

Yea I doubt Nolan will use them.

But in Sin City some of the dialogue is SUPPOSED to be bodacious and corny. Just like the old film noirs and pulp comics.

I can accept that, but it sure would've been a treat if the dialogue was as exceptional as the visuals were.

Marv used the word "Dames" repeatedly; this should let you know what school of thought he was coming from.

Villains wearing costumes. It's come to my attention that in the last 10 years, only the heroes have really worn costumes, w/a number of exceptions that I can count on my fingers. Now I'm not saying they have to be dead-on to the comics, (I DO NOT want to see Ian McKellen or anyone else don Magneto's red tights & purple trunks!) but make an attempt, people.
Oh, and unique signature moves-e.g. the fastball special.
