X-Men's 70's tracks were "Time in a Bottle" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" in DOFP. Any thoughts for the 80's and late 70's?

My personal faves:

The Smiths - This Charming Man (1984, one year too late)
[YT]pT1BKSPh0to[/YT]

Queen - Another One Bites the Dust (1980)
[YT]rY0WxgSXdEE[/YT]

The Beatles - Across the Stars (1974?)
[YT]RKtk3bK5yTk[/YT]

MJ - Thriller (1983)
[YT]sOnqjkJTMaA[/YT]

Anyone know songs about the apocalypse ?

Edit: There are a few on survival:
Stayin' Alive by The Bee Gees (1978) and I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor (1979) Who doesn't love disco? :funny:

Borderline from the Living for Love hitmaker, Madonna.

I want to hear that!

-Human Nature by MJ sounds appropriate for a movie about mutants. I could hear it playing in the background in a scene.

-Yes with Owner of a Lonely Heart...I could hear this playing in the movie

-For a club scene...Let It Whip by Dazz Band

-Rock The Casbah by The Clash another club or busy scene

-John Waite's Missing You is too iconic of the 80's to not use

-Mad World and Shout by Tears For Fears

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFsHSHE-iJQ

Scorpions- Rock You Like a Hurricane

Good mood music for the movie...

You are not a fan of the music from the 80s? I guess you were born in the 90s or early 00s. I feel like it would be a miss opportunity not to feature a single song from that decade.

I want at least one of those 1983's songs:

Toto -Africa

Men At Work - Down Under
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR9iY5y94s

Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams

Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Want to Have Fun
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIb6AZdTr-A

Dawid Bowie - Let's Dance
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyVjdQXNs9s

INXS - Original Sin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c7fElWw2oA

Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCuMWrfXG4E

Daryl Hall & Joh Oates - Maneater
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRYFKcMa_Ek

Michael Sembello - Maniac
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evyKPVS_M7E

Irene Cara - What a Feeling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILWSp0m9G2U

The Police - Every Breath You Take
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMOGaugKpzs

I also want to hear Together in Electric Dreams like as a background music to Ororo's danger room sequence.

Read this elsewhere, but how funny would it be to see Nightcrawler watching Michael Jackson's Thriller:

Which leads to his choice of circus costume and/or X-Men uniform:

Love 80s music. It's too distracting though. Like when Watchmen tried to do it...

did they even play any 70s music in DOFP? the song that plays when logan arrives in the 70s and back again is a 1969 song

in FC they had that song during the recruitment scene that was a mid 2000s song i believe

Time in a bottle for Quicksilvers scene

"Sunglasses at Night" for Cyclops.

70s music wasn't distracting for DOFP, I don't see why it would be for Apocalypse if they used songs from the 80s.

there wasn't really any 70s song in DOFP, and yes i know someone said the quicksilver action scene had some but wasn't that more quicksilver listening to it rather then montages or whatever

the song where logan wakes up in the past and future is a 1969 song and mystique at the party in paris obviously a particular decade song

if they brought in dazzler that would be an interesting way to do it

I will survive would be awesome

AC/DCs Hughway to Hell

Lee Zeppelins Kashmir
