songs that either made you cry or reflect on yourself?

I like to travel on my birthday. For my 30th I took a road trip to Canada and on my return trip I heard this song for the first time.

Tim McGraw › My Next Thirty Years

I think Ill take a moment, celebrate my age
The ending of an era and the turning of a page
Now its time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years

Hey my next thirty years Im gonna have some fun
Try to forget about all the crazy things Ive done
Maybe now Ive conquered all my adolescent fears
And Ill do it better in my next thirty years

My next thirty years Im gonna settle all the scores
Cry a little less, laugh a little more
Find a world of happiness without the hate and fear
Figure out just what Im doing here
In my next thirty years

Oh my next thirty years, Im gonna watch my weight
Eat a few more salads and not stay up so late
Drink a little lemonade and not so many beers
Maybe Ill remember my next thirty years

My next thirty years will be the best years of my life
Raise a little family and hang out with my wife
Spend precious moments with the ones that I hold dear
Make up for lost time here, in my next thirty years
In my next thirty years

Country music always tears me up :(

Bon Jovi's "Dead Or Alive" that brings tears to my eyes.
and that video, when he's on the Bus, so tired of touring , so emotionally drained.

pure magic.

Del Amitri - Tell Her This.
Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight.
The Fray - How To Save a Life.

The Servant - Cells
Three Days Grace - Animal
Korn - Tearjerker
Coldplay - Everything's Not Lost
Aerosmith - The Movie
Ten Years - Through the Iris

about 3 years ago, i was in a bit of a rutt, and i was "depressed" ( i was 12) and the good charlotte song Hold On was moving

To show how crazy and subjective emotional responses to music are...it has made me laugh after the fact...years ago my ex-fiance was sitting on my lap facing me ( fully-clothed, pervs. ), and we both were looking into eachother's eyes and started to cry tears of grateful joy while listening to this song by KISS.

From a far off galaxy, I hear you calling me
we are on an odyssey
Through the realms of time and space
In that enchanted place
You and I come face to face
Once upon not yet, long ago someday
Countless times we've met, met along the way

Through the luminescent night
On beams of neon light
You and I in wing-ged flight
As we cross the starry sea, powered by what we see
Now and then, the victory

There's a child in a sundress
Looking at a rainy sky
There's a place in the desert
Where an ocean once danced by
There's a song in the silence
Weaving in and out of time
We are notes in the music
Searching for remembered rhyme

On a mountain high somewhere
Where only heroes dare
Stand the stallion and the mare (Hahaha, hot.)
We have been and we shall be each other's destiny
One another's odyssey

We've met along the way....
We've met along the way

LMFAO! :(

Hellz yeah!

If you believe in the power magic,
I can change your mind
And if you need to believe in someone,
Turn and look behind
When we were living in a dream world,
Clouds got in the way
We gave it up in a moment of madness
And threw it all away

Dont answer me, dont break the silence
Dont let me win
Dont answer me, stay on your island
Dont let me in

Run away and hide from everyone
Can you change the things weve said and done?

If you believe in the power of magic,
Its all a fantasy
So if you need to believe in someone,
Just pretend its me
It aint enough that we meet as strangers
I cant set you free
So will you turn your back forever on what you mean to me?

Dont answer me, dont break the silence
Dont let me win
Dont answer me, stay on your island
Dont let me in

Run away and hide from everyone
Can you change the things weve said and done?

I like that too, but it's never made me cry.
I like how the dude's voice is so pansy but he sounds like such a cutting ass**** when he says:

"Dont answer me, dont break the silence
Dont let me win
Dont answer me, stay on your island
Dont let me in."

I guess that was the first AOR Synthetic-Pop Emo song.

I can't believe I forgot the ultimate emotional songs that could make anyone cry.

Those two songs being "The Show Must Go On" by Queen and another being "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton.

Songs don't make me cry. But the ones that reflect on me are:

Smile Empty Soul - Who I Am
Puddle of Mud - Blurry
Seether feat. Evanscene - Broken

The Beach Boys - "This Whole World"
Garth Brooks - "The Dance"
The Drifters - "Up On the Roof"
Queen - "One Year of Love"
Jeff Buckley - "Hallelujah"

Mr Roboto has always made me cry.

LMFAO! :(

I was trying to figure out what response to use to this, so, what the hell, I'll use both.

There has perhaps never been a quote that better summed up the bundle of contradictory nerves that is Wilhelm.

or:

HA, you CRIED!
