Spider-Man 3 was a shameful deplorable film that promoted hate, racisim, violence and was responsible for an increase in the attempted suicide rate in 2007. It made us all a little dumber and can be considered a crime against humanity.

What you need to do is take a lesson from what Joe Wright managed to do in capturing the eloquent prose and longing of a Jane Austen novel (her masterpiece no less) in a brisk two hour opus.

The movie told the longing tale of unrequited love between several couples with the sexual tension between the crafty and plain Elizabeth Bennet (played by the obviously plain looking Keira Knightley) and her would-be-lover Mr. Darcy (Matthew MacFayden) as a pretext to how helmer-Wright imagined what the relationship between Spider-Man and Venom would be. Oh there would be much tip-toeing around the subtext, but obviously Venom wants to bang Spider-Man like a salvation army drum, but due to Peter's relationship with the cad Mary Jane -- represented by royal soldier Mr. Wickem -- fate intervenes.

This is how Spider-Man should be done. Look at the mature dialogue and natural performances based in realism. This is a movie written for adults and the lovely dance at the beginning is really a parable to Spidey and Venom fighting each other and their passions. These almost misses lead to an exuberant brain banquet at the finale on the fog drenched green hills of Peter's estate.

Oh! The rolling countryside of England, the girly sisterhood love between Elizabeth, Jane and the other sisters (obviously representing Peter, Harry and Aunt May, respectively) all fit the pattern for a perfect Spider-Man movie. It was a well received movie, critics loved it and Knightley was nominated for an OSCAR for it. WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED that this is the perfect movie to base the next Spider-Man film on for inspiration? If only we could reboot and get Joe Wright to do this tale of longing and family love meets manners and bad etiquette from the beginning.

Sony if you have any sense you'll watch this and know THIS is what a true Spider-Man movie should be!

LOL...We have some great ideas brewing now :woot:
