I can understand their pivot to animation.

They've tanked with their live-action Marvel films without Marvel Studios, so now they are gonna target spin off movies of Spider-Verse to squeeze in more money, but animated franchises could be inconsistent at the box office and I don't think its going to take much until these animated Sony movies start to underperform/flop and its going to be downhill from there.
