Horror-comedy about a human, a vampire, and a zombie that team up to take down an alien invasion. That title alone had me grinning.

Bob Oedenkirk ("Breaking Bad"), Patton Oswalt (Big Fan) and Ian Roberts ("Arrested Development") are the latest names to join the cast of Sony Pictures' The Kitchen Sink, Deadline reports. They'll join Mackenzie Davis, Nicholas Braun, Chris Zylka, Josh Fadem, Joan Cusack, Keegan-Michael Key, Ed Westwick, Denis Leary and Vanessa Hudgens in the upcoming genre-bending comedy.

The storyline follows a human, a vampire and a zombie as they band together to take on an alien invasion. Robbie Pickering will direct the movie based on the Black List-honored script by Oren Uziel. Matt Tolmach (The Amazing Spider-Man) is producing.

The Kitchen Sink is gearing up to begin shooting shortly for an October 24, 2014 release.

They wouldn't be wrong. They may try and pull a PG-13 if they're going for a summer blockbuster but I hope it does get an R rating.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be a Scary/Date/Epic/Disaster Movie/Meet the Spartans/Vampires Suck type deal. It sounds like it could be awesome. Needs a better title though.

This is hillarious as a concept and the title is icing on the cake. Looking forward to seeing it brought to thw screen.

Of your suggestions, a ghost is the most obvious choice. The team consist of supernatural beings and ONE human. Why whould they need another human?
