They shouldn't ignore the events of the first movie. When gathering the Tunes together, Bugs could say that the basketball has been a little bit rusty among them and that they need LeBron to teach them how to play basketball again.

I dont think it matters if there is a continuity between the 2 movies. This movie is gonna basically be nothing but references to other stuff, so the first movie will get referenced either way. You cannot make References The Movie 2 without just putting in things cause "It was in da 1st moooovie!!!!!"

Lebron looks like he's going to be pretty entertaining to watch in this and very comfortable in the lead role, but the rest just doesn't look all that good to me honestly.

Now, maybe its because I'm still trying to get the sour taste that garbage Tom & Jerry movie left behind out of my mouth, but the amount of focus on the humans in that trailer does worry me.

I will always love Looney Tunes, but Warner Bros has seriously been mishandling alot of these IP's lately and I'm just not feeling the story they came up with for this so far.

I'm glad its going to HBO Max though, because I definitely wouldn't watch this in a theatre and hopefully with low expectations I will end up enjoying it.

So this is the WB’s response to Disney’s Wreck It Ralph 2. They’re literally showing off all their IPs . Doesn’t look interesting to me though but maybe that’s because I’ve never actually seen the original in it’s entirety .
