I didn't enjoy this last ep so much. just seem too raunchy and devoid of real character plot. I'm also curious as to what batiatus sr is doing.

michael hurst(sp) usually directs the most relevent eps but this one fell flat to me.

also in blood and sand, almost all fights most our protagonist along, is this 6 episode feature one day it's doctore, then it's gannicus, then it's crixus, I just can't really get behind anyone the way i did my best friend spartacus. Plus it doesn't help that I know how each match will turn out.

I have learned that the romans from rome are just a little more perverted than the folks from around capua.

I'm loving this series so far and its getting me amped for season 2. If Varro makes an appearance somewhere in these final 3 episodes, that would be the icing on the cake.

Yeah, me too. I just wish there are more eps for the Prequel so Crixus will have more storylines devoted to him as the champ. Six eps imo just aren't enough.

I'd agree that this latest episode felt a tad bit weak. It felt too predictable, as does where the show seems to be going next. This is not just because it's a prequel, either. Several of the first season's biggest moments hinged on actual history that anyone with a moderate interest in this would have already known. Similarly, in the first episode of this series, the blindfold fight was exceptionally tense, even though we knew how it would turn out.
Usually this show surprises me by the end of almost every episode. Here's hoping it gets back to form next week.

Well guys, I've never send Sand & Blood but I've seen the first 3 episodes of the prequel and I have really enjoyed this series. I purchased Spartacus from Amazon and will watch it once the prequel is over. Man, how have I missed this. Even though I haven't seen the first series, I could tell Crixius didn't work well with long hair.
