Ok, this is highly doubtlfull... in fact. I know they won't do this... but this is just throwing ideas around...

what if they made a life action TV series on what happened in between Spider-Man 1 and 2?

Have Chameleon as a villain, and introduce Kraven and make him fight Spidey once, with Chameleon... to help set up his character for Spider-Man 4.

Have a rivalry between Mysterio and Spidey. Mysterio wanting fame and fortune, but can't get it because of Spidey. Have him frame Spidey.

Beetle, Vulture and Shocker are some nice scientific ideas for a TV series.

Bring in Hydro-Man, so when Spider-Man says "uh-oh" in 3, when he punches into Sandman, it could be a "no again..." moment... :oldrazz:

Crime-Master would make a possibility.

The Goblin Continuity
Have Jason Macendale become Jack O' Lantern, then find the Goblin lair and become Hobgoblin, then he wants more power and becomes Demogoblin... who says Hobgoblin HAS to be after Harry?

Enforcers is also a nice, one-time story...

People who want Kingpin so much, have the TV series to satisfy their craving...

Morbius... we know he won't make it into the movies, so why not put him in a TV series?

Prowler... have Peter's identity discovered and he has to use Prowler, to save his identity.

Puma, Rhino, Rose, Silvermane, Hammerhead, Alistair Smythe, Spider-Slayers

basically all the villains who couldn't make it in a movie, put them in here...

and don't even use all of them! use maybe half for now... then make a TV series about in between 3 and 4, and use the rest!

an inbetween 2 and 3 wouldn't work because they're pretty much linked together...

what do ya think?

I dont know about a TV series, but I think an animated movie would work better to fill the gaps.

I agree U Venom, an animated mini-series would work well because it could kind of be a 'construction film'. Basically every episode informing you of whats recently happened so that the next Spidey film wont be like, "HEY! where did he go and what happened to her?!". (that is of course if you're not a spidey comic fanatic and know every spidey story)

yeah, the animated one would probobly work better... then they wouldn't have to worry about Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco and whether they would want to return or not...

... or at least get them to do the voices...

I would actually want someone else to do the voices. Tobey is a horrible voice actor; the spidey games are proof of this. Same thing goes for Dunst and Im not sure about Franco though. There wasent enough of him in the 3rd game for me to judge on.

Another thing:

For stories you cant have a big storyline that would later continue into a movie, cuz most movie goers wont have a clue on whats going on. So the stories would have to be self contained.

yeah... make the movie story line first, then give the official final draft to the animated series and let them do their own thing that will NOT affect the future movies in a big way, and will NOT use the movie-worthy stories...

like for instance... you won't want to use the Electro story in the animated version and leave the Chameleon for the movie... that'd be horrible...
