like many others I didn't like the part where Spider-Man gets hit by a train and just keeps going like nothing happened. hopefully my edit fixes this problem.
i'll eventually finish the whole edit for the train scene, so here's a sample for now...

ya, that part was pretty freakin unbelievable.. if that didnt even wind him, what the heck can kill him??

I understand what is supposed to happen, it's just not very clearly depicted. Spidey isn't so much hit by the train as carried by the train, because he sticks to it when it hits him.

it dosnt matter if he stuck to it or not, he still got hit by a freakin train! lol...and addition to that, he was headed towards it going roughly the exact same speed, so thats gotta hurt!

I agree with this.

But you have to remember that these trains were not going at full speed, or even close to full speed. In fact, the other train's probably going quite slow since immediately after he recovers, Doc throttles this train up and they zoom through a stop. So it would still hurt, but it would be within Spider-Man's limits of toleration.

That's an interesting recut scene, though. Are you going to eliminate Ock knocking him off through the window?

I agree with this, though I can see why it was cut from the original version. It's a cool part, but people would have thought that it was just a tad unbelievable.

still working on the scene as a whole, but yeah that shot is gone.

You're talking about a guy who can take punches from the Incredible FREAKIN' Hulk.

Are you seriously going to sit here and complain about his dexterity as if he was a normal human? He STOPPED the train...FORCEFULLY for god's sake. and you're worried about him getting hit by one? He's Spider-Man. A lot of people doubt his strength because of his size, but what a lot of people don't realize...is that Peter...ALWAYS....Holds back.

Ye that is pretty unbelievable, glad they cut it for the original version!!

I had a big problem when seeing this for the first time. Kevin Roegele sad what I pretty much assumed also. Spidey is supposed to stick to the train when it collides to him, which is something I wouldn't have had a problem with. Unfortunately that specific notion was depicted poorly in the actual scene and it looks like Spider-man is literally hit by a train at full speed which would obviously kill him.

Anyway, I prefer the cut version to the train fight between Spidey vs. Ock that made it on the big screen.

Wait wait a second. People are complaining about the train hitting him when he clearly fell hundreds of feet and onto a rooftop when he was swinging around earlier in the film? Oh, and don't forget he fell hundreds of feet once again into an alleyway after the planetarium.

I think free falling and slamming into the ground or a roof would be just as nasty as getting hit by a train.

Well, although not as dangerous as a train,he did get smashed by a bus in Spidey 3. I guess that arachnids can survive all sorts of things like that.

I didn't like this, and was glad it was cut from the movie.
