Spider-Man 2.1 additional scenes revealed

New shots included:

-The infamous apartment battle scene
-More train footage, including an alternate occurence: Spider-Man is actually hit by the oncoming train. They also battle it out through a train station. There's also a scene where Ock grabs Spider-Man and apparently drags him under the train.
-Spider-Man taking the car from the burglars and driving away.
-Extended elevator scene.

The fight scenes look a whole lot more brutal. Doc Ock's tentacles are just grabbing at Spider-Man and beating the crap out of him, from what I can see.

I know what you mean, 8 minutes doesn't seem like a alot. It'll also be 8 minutes peppered throughout the entire movie. Minor additions to scenes.
But think of it this way...an extra minute or two added to a fight scene is actually alot of fight.
So we're definitely in for a treat. Just the trailer alone proves it's worth it.
Can't wait!

Im definatly going to buy this. The extended fight scenes look awesome and Im really intrested in seeing what the water tower and apartment fights are like. By the way when does this come out anyway?

Will any of the new fight scenes reveal how Spidey gets barbed wire wrapped around him? In the theatrical version it just shows Doc Ock knock Spidey out on the train & then it cuts to were he takes Spidey into the Osbourne mansion already wrapped in barbed wire.

I can't really see them showing Ock tie Spidey up in the barbed wire. It's not important, really.

We're getting the important stuff. The infamous office fight sequence, Ock and Spidey crashing into a water tower, and more footage on the train.

Good enough for me.

Overall, the additions do really enhance the Spider-Man 2 experience, and for my money make this the definitive version of the film.

I actually hoped that they will put all the music videos and outtakes on this disc. I live in Europe and our 2-DVD set misses some extra's that the region 1 2-DVD set does have, like more music videos and the outtakes. Unfortunately, it looks like this release will not give us the missing content that the region 1 DVD did have...
