Spider-Man 3 gets a PG-13 rating with Sequences of Intense Action Violence

Didn't really surprise me :hyper:
The only thing confusin about the Spider-Man movie franchise is that, in my opinion, Spider-Man 2 was more violent; yet got a PG rating

Excellent, intense action and violence is what I wanted to here :)

That's a 12A for us in the UK right?

Well, everyone should've pretty much expected it, but I guess now it's official.

Sometimes we're tilted a little above or behind what the U.S Rating would translate to, but with a standard movie like this I'm sure we'll be getting the same rating as U.S with a 12a.

The rating detail is a step up from the first two movies. It looks to be more violent and dark. I'm suprised some "horror images" isn't in there with Venom being in it and everything.

Not too surprising.

Spidey 2 got PG-13.

Yeah sm2 was pg-13. but sm3 being this also didnt suprise me. but thanks

Now will everyone stop will the excuse that this movie will bomb because it doesn't have enough action?

This does not surprise me one bit. But cool to know. I was looking at the Spidey 1 and 2 MPAA and all they have is Stylized Action.

But this is intense violence? Cool. Must be the Venom stuff.

This was obvious, I was pretty much 99.9% sure itd be PG-13. I just wish it was PG-13 for stylized action and violence....I dont know why, it just sounds cooler okay :o

I still say the MPAA rating should read "all ages severely cautioned- may cause faces to collapse".

Sorry for the off topic-ness but something I gotta share. On the Grand Theft Auto 4 website it says "Rating Pending", its not like the game would be rated anything else other than M. Lol, just saying.

But yeah back on topic. PG-13 rating is cool with me.

Intense action violence....I like that
The first 2 were Styleized action violence

I'm pleased

you know there was a thread on another forum about this and the giuy thought it was gonna be R rated with Venom and such

I admit, I was slightly concerned that this one would be R. Because of the two-three [BLACKOUT]impalings[/BLACKOUT]

Spider-man 2 was PG-13.

-R

Man, I prefer my action violence to be stylized...:oldrazz:
