Sorry if this has been posted.

Cleveland's The Plain Dealer has yet another article on the Spider-Man 3 filming that took place in the city this weekend. Here's a clip (spoilers ahead!):

According to one film crew member, the scene filmed here Saturday involves one of Spider-Man's enemies -- a villain by the name of Sandman -- who gets punched in the stomach by the masked marvel.

But the elusive Sandman somehow breaks free of Spider-Man, and makes his way into the armored car.

An injured Sandman then spills his guts -- leaking sand into the cab of the truck, filling it up to the point where the accelerator is weighted down and stuck at full throttle.

Sounds great, thanks for the update. I haven't seen it

Yeah, sounds like a good Sandman scene.

Sounds real cool. Reminds me of the Terminator when the Liquid Metal Terminator smashes his head throught he copter window and melts into the cab.

sweet.. Finally Some hype about sandman :)

I hope Sandman ends up being really cool in this movie. I'll be happy if this movie does better than the other two.

There's no doubt in my mind Raimi is going all out action and fun in this one with enough Drama to make it great.

If there is the black suit there is drama, but there is going to be hella action and lots of big fight scenes especially with larger than life Sandman and if Venom or GGII is in it, it is going to be nuts.

(Yeah, I don't know why I said hella either.)

I really want to see Sandman do amazing. I want his scenes to really steal the movie, and have people wishing they could have more of him.

This isn't just because I want the movie to rock, but it's inevitable that SOME half of the fanbase will be dissatisfied with Venom, so I want Sandman, who already seems to be taken care of greatly, to be awesome.

He will be visually stunning. They have already thought up a scene that I have never seen with him in the comics, and it's fresh but has the possibility to be a classic chase scene.

This movie will be the biggest, certainly, of the 3.

Here's hoping it is the best of the 3.

X-Men-Good
X2: X-Men United-better
X-Men The Last Stand-I have a feeling it might be the best of all the movies.

If Spider-Man 3 is more successful than the Spider-Man movies, then that's rare because most superhero movies aren't that great on the third one.

Well most superhero movies don't have the same cast & director after 3 films. In fact I think Spiderman 3 is the first film where the main character & director have been the same in 3 films. Consistency.

Spider-Man 4 better have all the actors and the original director back.

**thinks.........*** yeah... I think you're right AD.... ***Thinks more.........................****....... :/ from what I can remember... Yeah It's a first...

He fills (spills his guts?!?!?!!???... what the HELL) an armored car with sand and THIS is SPECtaular??????

SHEEESHHHH... Give me a break. :down

^ Well if Venom is gonna be the main baddie in Spiderman 4 it would be a perfect time to recast Parker. They're gonna have to do it sometime and why not mask it a bit with the most popular villain taking center stage. I think changing actors will be a positive after part 3 as long as the quality is the same. I'm also not opposed to a new director so we can see a different directors take on Spiderman 4. Just not Quentin Tarantino please. Give him Punisher 3 or something. LOL

No way, don't let that hack near any Marvel or DC movies >_< as for recasting... Yeah Tobey is getting old and given his back problems probably won't be back for a fourth but It's always possible :P

Yep, and here's a drool pad for you to mop up your over enthusiastic Drool for nothing. A shift shaper, made of sand... and it's SPECTACULAR that he ... he... *gasp*... fills an armored car with sand... OHHHH the Glory of Da Imagination.

*sigh*

Yeah, but Tobey is Peter Parker and Spider-Man, it would be to weird to see a different actor being advertised as Spider-Man.

I just want them to keep the original actors.

Well, lets see, in SM2 he a) caught a cop car in webbing that was flying through the air b) stopped a speeding train with webbing and strength... Hmmmm... I wonder "how"??????

Wow... What a stunt this is gonna be... (dripping with sarcasm) ;)
