Its usually listed as Death of a Friend. Or, alternatively, Death of a Friend (Alternate) for the non-movie version.

Are they not releasing the score because of legal reasons, I know they used like three or four composers. But this is the horrible, ridiculous mp3 age and if they just dont think it would sell well they could sell it on a website, lose NOTHING in materials and make $$$. Its the best score of the three, I'll say again.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but has anyone noticed that a new melody was added in this movie and was played in a ton of variations. You first hear it in the beginning, after the main titles, when Peter is with the kids. Then you hear it when the symbiote is attaching to Peter. Later you hear it when Spiderman is on the church spire. You can also hear very altered versions when Giant Sandman is pounding Spidey, and at the beginning of Harry's funeral.

Yeah I noticed lol. I didn't hear the beginning one for the first time until the DVD. I thought it was funny because it was like the happy version of a darker theme.

I'm glad someone else noticed, because it was pretty well hidden since it was always played so differently. It's cool because through the whole movie, the theme develops with Peter.

I did rather enjoy the Venom theme when it started playing during the credits.

What is it w/ third films and their downplayed soundtracks? I heard all sorts of things about the original SM soundtrack/scores, and very little of this.

Do people get too used to the style of the score and get sick of it?

not bad man. it was cool..but thanks lol with what you provited, i was able to make some edits with the released versions and made them into movie versions lol i would post up but i fade in and out the tracks and try and make them individual tracks insted of huge songs but some of ya'll dont like that..i also mixed in cues from previous scores from 1 and 2..one more thing dude..you forgot 2 (that i know) cues from the moive, one is (i call it) "Goblin Hint" when after Harry returns home after being at the hospital, and when he and Peter look at Norman's painting portrait. and "Peter Contemplates" after he takes the symbiote off, its the cue right before "Alone" (when Aunt May vist's him) if you can get those dude, your score will be complete!
