and some of you guys were thinking why does tobey have the suit under his clothes maybe because remember how Venom could take the suit off well maybe symbiote spidey can do that too.

i have a feeling this movie is going to be a very dark movie, it could even be the darkest spiderman movie ever (in this trilogy) if Raimi gets it right.

i think Topher Grace looks great. He will make a good Eddie Brock. and Tobey...well he looks fantastc as usual.

Guys come on... the fact alone that there's no scene with tobey neither in sm-1 nor in sm-2 shows that this is NOT a manip...

Well, who´d say that, those fake pics we saw a while ago were actually on the money... I never was much into the black suit from the comics, so that look doesn´t affect me one way or another... I think it makes sense that the symbiote isn´t a suit per se, but an entity that´s trying to control Peter, so there´really isn´t a reason for it to change the look.

I don't think that is what it looks like. I just may appear that way because we can't see the whole spider. Just chill and when we get better pictures we can rant and rave about what it looks like.

The black suit looks kinda rubbery- perhaps to signify that it's covered by an alien creature. But Tobey as evil Pete looks good.

okay but if the pic with tobey showing the camera guy the symbiote suit that he's wearing and all really is a manip then someone please post the REAL pic. if no one finds the real pic in a week then that pic is real i mean come on it even looks real dammit.

What seems to be the case here is he changes his look to suit his new dark attitude. It's very similar to my theory about how the spider-bite has side-effects on peter that develop into something like the symbiote. I believe he's going to struggle with the idea of having great power but not letting it make you a monster.
