Spider-Man 4: The fan Script thread.

Hey.

Last year, there was a thread on IMDB's board for Spider-Man 4 talking about a official Script written by Michael Chambon, that leaked. It was fanmade, obviously, but, aside from minor details, it was pretty good. Since I posted about it on another thread and it caused interest, I'm posting here what I remember. Unfortunately, I couldn't read everything. This goes as far as the the first action sequence:

The movie begins in New York City. Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson are about to get married. Gwen Stacy is the maid-of-honor and Flash Thompson is the bestman. MJ and Gwen became close friends between the movies, so, MJ introduced Gwen to her old boyfriend, Flash, who also became closer of Peter after Harry's death. Unfortunatly, Peter is running late.

He's at the other side of the city, as Spider-Man, fighting bank robbers. After defeating the group, Peter rushes to the church, where an overprotective reverend (Bruce Campbell) tries to talk MJ out of the marriage because Peter is late, what shows he isn't going to be a good husband. Even so, Peter and MJ get married. The Daily Bugle staff and MJ's actor friends are there. Aunt May is there too.

Meanwhile, an serial killer called Cleetus Cassidy is moved from his cell in Ryker's Island to the Columbia University, where he's going to be studied until the docters determinate the source of his homicidal behavior.

On Columbia, Dr. Curt Connors and his assistant, Dr. Cho, are working on a formula, based on reptile DNA, that will grown people's amputed members if suceeded. Connors can't estabilize the DNA under any circunstancies, so, he uses the Venom sample he kept from SM3. The experience is sucess, and the formula is completed!

Meanwhile, Flash and Gwen help MJ move to Peter's place. During the visit, it's clear Flash and Gwen still have feelings for MJ and Peter.

The next day, Peter goes to Columbia under Dr. Connor's invitation. In there, Dr. Connors is about to test the formula on an animal subject, as Dr. Cho tapes it. Connors tells Peter he used the meteor sample to estabilizy the components, and Peter gets worried. Connors decides to prove it's OK by taking a sample out of Peters blood and putting it on the meteorite sample, estabilizing it. The meteorite "reconizes" Peter's blood and wants more.

Connors tests the formula and it reestores the animal sample's lost leg. It's official: They made a groundbreaking scientifical discovery. Nobel-worth. But Connors wants something else: His arm. Back.

After Peter leaves, concerned about the blood sample Connors took, and Cho goes back home, Connors secretly inoculates himself with the serum and heads home. On the way back, he stumbles on the prison convoy leading Cassidy to his cell.

Cassidy is put in cell, where a female doctor tries to ask him question. Cassidy slowly provoques her with small gestures until she has a breakdown in the middle of the section and is forced to leave. He appreciates it. This is going to be fun.

Overnight. Peter comes back home, and he and MJ talk about their future. The conversations goes back into Harry, as they both tearfully embrace. They miss him. Meanwhile, Dr. Connors can't sleep. He crawls to his bathroom and notices his hair is falling. His teeths too, and, under it, there are fangs. His fingernails are longer. His skin is dry and hard. His back is aching. And he's hungry. Covered from his wife and son, Connor savagly eats crude meat. He's CHANGING.

Next day. Connors and Cho are about to announce their groundbreaking discovery. There's a big press coletive in front of Columbia's University. But Connors is bad. Completelly covered by clothes, he tries to hide his deformities, but Cho drags him to speak to the audience. Peter's there, taking pictures for the Bugle. Connor notices an cut on Cho's cheek he made shaving. The blood makes him thirsty. He tries to hide it. He tries to control it, but he just can't.

Connors becomes the Lizard in the middle of Cho's speech to the journalist and devours Cho in broad daylight, in front ot the reporters and civilizans. Peter watches it with disbelieve. He runs to an alley and searches for the Spider-Man costume in his backpack, but MJ took it to wash, leaving him with the mask only. Peter improvises an costume and fights Lizard in the middle of the Columbia. An drunken hobo who's sleeping at a nerby alley (Stan Lee) sees it and bumbles about the "rats getting bigger", before going back to sleep.

Spider-Man and Lizard's fight reaches the interior of the lab. During the brawnl, they accidently damage the eletricity. Cassidy uses the advantage to stab a guard with his fingernails and shoot the other, prison breaking. Cassidy hides in Connors lab and finds the Venom sample mixed with Spider-Man's genneticly altered blood. Cassidy hears the symbiont calling him and breaks the glass, freeing it. He cuts his arm open with a scalpel and the symbiont unites to Cassidy's fresh and blood. He's no longer Cleetus Cassidy. He's now Carnage. And he's going to paint N.Y. with blood.

That's as far as I got.

**Based on current rumors of villains**

Story begins with the city of NY having mixed feelings about Spider-Man due to the events of SM3.

Aunt May has become ill and doctors tell Peter that she is just getting to an age where time catches up with people.

Peter's relationship with MJ has become rocky and due to this he has become more focused on school. MJs career is beginning to do well again and she has been presented with a choice to leave NY and star in a movie in LA.

Curt Conners has Peter as TA and through this he meets the European geneticist Michael Morbius whose work Conners is interested in due to his missing limb.

Gwen and Peter become closer friends due to school but Peter feels too guilty after the events of SM3 to do anything, even though Gwen has developed feelings for him.

Oscorp has been taken over by Adrian Toomes, at this point he makes some corny speech about how he become rich by picking at weaker business men, like a vulture. (we leave it at that for now)

Toomes Company is funding Michael's research. Through working with Michael, Peter learns that Michael's research is to cure a blood disease his sister has. He tells Peter that certain species of bats have grown immune to blood diseases as it is their main source of nutrition. Peter tries to explain the dangers of genetic research, Morbius tells Peter to have faith (an elude to this religious background)

Peter visits Aunt May as she has become even more ill and prays at her bedside having taken Michael's advice.

As Peter is trying to fight crime and regain the trust of citizens that now fear him, Conners breaks into Morbius' lab and begins to steal his research. he finds that Michael has been illegally experimenting on animals in the old country but has had success with reptilian DNA

MJ and Gwen meet and Gwen explains to MJ that although She now has feelings for Peter, that Peter is in love with MJ. She is torn about going to LA or staying and trying to work things out with Peter. In going to talk to Peter she bumps into Morbius and they hit it off.

Conners finds that he may possibly regrow his limb using Michael's research and tests it. he mutates a serum Michael has developed to unsafe levels and mixes it with reptilian DNA. He becomes the monstrous lizard.

This threat becomes very real as Spider-Man literally bears witness to a person being dragged into the sewer. In chase, Spider-man sees from the tattered clothing that it is curt Conners.

As Peter he rushes to the lab only to find Morbius furious that someone would dare steal his research. He explains to Peter he was so close to a cure for his sister.

Toomes finds out about the ruined lab and cuts funding to Michael's research. Ruined, Michael begins to continue his experiments in his apartment, not knowing that the serum he developed is at unsafe levels. In a last ditch effort believing that if he cannot cure his sister, he will die with her, Morbius injects himself with the disease and his cure. It works at first.

JJJ has come up with new headlines stating that Spider-Man is dragging people into the sewers where he keeps his web to eat them.

In the sewer, the lizard smells a familiar scent, that of his student Gwen and begins to hunt her down.

Peter on his way to tutor Gwen hears her screams. He changes and chases the lizard into central park where they fight. The battle becomes public as many people are around and it draws TV attention

Morbius is sitting in the dark in his apartment and sees a commercial for a vampire themed cereal that cuts to the news cast on the television. He sees the lizard’s clothes and knows it is conners. In a rage he flies into the night as morbius the living vampire.

The police are now on scene as Capt. Stacey is trying to save his daughter. Spider-man fares well in the fight but the lizard eventual drags him into a small pool where he is drowning him.

Gwen runs for safety and runs into Morbius, scared by his appearance, morbius wants to attack her at first but she flees. Morbius feels like a monster but this fuels his anger as he joins the fight inadvertantly saving spider-man.

The lizard gets away into the sewer just in time for spider-man to confront Morbius. Spider-man recognizes him but pretends not to and asks him if he knows how this happened. Morbius explains his experiment and asks spider-man to help him find a cure.

MJ leaves a humorous meeting with an LA exec (played by Bruce Campbell) sees the news of the attack and meets Gwen at her place. Gwen is shaken up but explains that she knows the creature of Dr Conners and that if she was the target, Peter could be next.

Morbius and Spider-Man break into Toomes lab so that Michael can synthesize a cure. The lizard has been trailing peter's scent to the lab. He arrives just in time for Michael to finish one dose of the cure. The fight destroys the lab but Conners is injected and becomes human again.

The lab is ruined and Morbius' work is lost. He is enraged with what he has become, Spider-Man tells him to have faith and believe he will find a way to become normal again. Morbius leaves into the night.

MJ arrives at peter's place to see if he is okay, she uses her cell phone and tells him that she loves him but she cannot give up her dream. Morbius, having been following MJ hears this and realizes she loves someone else.

Peter returns to the hospital where aunt may is conscious but the doctors do not give her much longer.

Gwen shows up, she knew she would be able to find peter there.
Peter goes into the room alone and Aunt May and him talk about Uncle Ben and how they miss him. Aunt may asks peter to pass her purse to her. She tells peter to remember when she told him she threw out his comics, she unfolds a piece of paper that is one of peter's original sketches of the spider-man costume. She tells him she knew all along and that no matter what anyone says, she is proud of him and that uncle Ben would be proud too. with that, she slowly passes.

Peter walks out of the room, Gwen comforts him

Seeing his ruined lab, Adrian Toomes is furious, one of his assistants tells him that they have come a ways in reverse engineering Norman Osborn military glider flight technology.

my Spider-Man 4 Outline


-OPENING-
from the battle on the construction site NY loves Spidey and label him
the true guardian of NY. banners on some skyscrapers would read THANKS FOR
SAVING US SPIDER-MAN as Spidey swings by reading them. on his way to school
he breaks up a bank roberry with cool visual effects and choreogrophy of course.

Peter goes through his day at school and one of his last classes is Dr. Connors class.
Dr. Connors asks Peter to stay after class. He has something to show him. Gwen briefly talks
to Peter to set up a date to tudor her for the final exam. Dr. Connor reveals he has discovered
a formula he developed exporting some chemicals from the same symbiote sample from the 3rd movie
as well as some reptile dna from a lizard for regeneration for his limbs. he explains to Peter
he's tested the serum on a chimp with a missing finger and the test was a success. he plans to do
a presentation in front of a science commitee and would like him to attend. he's excited and goes on
about his retirement plans. peter bursts his bubble about how the symbiote could be dangerous. dr. connors
reassures him he's done his homework and he has nothing to worry about.

MJ and Peter meet for dinner. MJ tells Peter they needed time apart before. Now she has news about going
to tour in England and Europe to star in huge Shakesperian plays to star for a major role which might land her
a place in Hollywood. Peter agrees to the time apart but not the distance apart. Sadenned they both part ways.
MJ mentions she will be in touch.

Later that evening there is a break in at Oscorp which apparently is still up and running. at team of 20 men in ski masks and
guns run thru the place using advanced technology to break into their goal destination. finally reaching the Harry Osborn's research
area. the men look everywhere for what their looking for. one of the men hacks into a computer and finds a top secret file. he looks
into it and finds the glider and the green goblin weaponry. the man in ski masks smiles and slips away from the group. the rest of the
group to search what they're looking for. a bald man with a slim muscular physique in a suit instructs them where to look and rushes them to do it. once they finally
find what their looking for its apparent what it is they found. TRIDIUM!!!

Peter arrives at Gwen's place. they study together. Peter speaks to Gwen's father. Capt Stacy lets him know their still searching for Flint Marko.
Peter says if it was up to him he would like to drop the whole thing. Capt Stacy asks why when he murdered his uncle. Peter tells him it was an
accident. Capt Stacy asks if he can prove it. Of course thats a no so Capt stacy tells Peter he is still an escaped convict and fugitive.

Peter visits Aunt Mae. Peter cooks dinner for her after visiting Uncle Ben's grave. They discuss how they miss him. Aunt Mae tells Peter she's proud
of him and all that he has done. Peter is confused as to what exactly she meant. She pulls a bag out of a closet and pulls out Peter's wrestling outfit
from Spidey 1. Peter claims he threw that away. Aunt Mae says she saved it and knew the whole time and that his secret is safe with her. She told him
he would never tell her so she took it upon herself to reveal his identity and brought tears to her eyes as to how proud she is of him.

Next day at the office Peter's new position has made very popular through company and gave him more control of proving to the public what a hero Spider-Man
truly is. There some humorous conflict between JJJ and Peter about why Spidey is good or bad. Robbie backs up Peter of course. Peter can not be fired due to
his succesful and outstanding photos of Spidey saving the day. Peter mentions to JJJ that he will be attending a breakthroug in science demonstration which
is hosted by Dr. Connors. JJJ says to Peter he wants great photos and puts him on the job.

After the final exam Gwen and Peter make a date to celebrate early for the end of their college years. After dinner and desert they decide to central park.
Gwen thanks Peter for all his help. They have an awkward silent moment after she thanks him and he wants to kiss her so bad as does she. He interrupts the '
moment by inviting her to go with him to the Dr. Connors demonstration. She agrees to go and once Peter is about to tell her when he will pick her up she
wraps her arms around him. he slightly pushes away. and she apologizes quicky retracting her arms and her bracelet tears a his shirt a bit exposing the Spidey
suit. Peter says he has to go in a rush. Gwen knows who he really is. Peter tries to best to cover up and runs off.

Next day is the demonstration. Shows the before and after of the chimp. Explains how millions across the world missing limbs or other parts of their bodies can
now regenerate that part of them they've missed for so long. no more crutches, no more prosthetics. he injects himself and w/cool visual effects the bone forms.
then tissue and muscle finally flesh and skin start to show with hair and Dr. Connors shows the huge audience the transformation before them. Peter is taken plenty
of pictures. Gwen is smiling the whole time knowing who he is they don't discuss of it at the moment. The crowd watched in pure amazement and a loud uproar of praises
and handclaps boomed through the room. Connors goes on explaining how this could change the world. amputations can now be done and replaced as well. Disfigured patients
can remove the ugly parts of them that suffered some kind of trauma and replaced with new parts. As Connors went on more applauses was blasted his way. In mid speech
he feels some pain. The pain goes a way for a moment. Peter lowers his camera in concern. So does Gwen Connors assures the crowd it's nothing just regular pains he suffers. He tries
to continue his speech but the transformation happens. Connors collapses and the medical staff on stage rush to his aid and Peter does as well. Connors starts growing
scales and his teeth grow to sharp yellow dagger like teeth. GET AWAY FROM ME!!! he screams. the crowd gasps in disbelief. Peter calls out for him. But Connors quickly
slithers away. running through walls he starts to grow in size and into more of a Lizard like creature. the medical staff, security and Peter pursue him. By the time they
get outside a manhole cover thats into the sewers slam shut. Peter tells Gwen he's gonna go get help. Gwen face goes from concerned to a smile knowing who he is now.

Scene changes to a huge sub terranean lab. very high tech advanced technology The same bald man is carrying a huge case. he places it on a huge metal table. the bald
man tells a shadowy figure get to work."he doesn't like to wait well get the rest of the things you need"...the silhouette of a man's head pops up and as he starts walking
towards the table. Two metal claws rip the case open. He holds the glass orb with the Tridium his hand and a familiar voice says the power of the sun in the palm of my hand.

Switch to Peter chasing Dr. Connors in the sewers. The sewers become bigger where he's able to swing closing on his position. Spidey makes some joke wishing the Ninja Turtles were
real to help him out. Big battle once Lizard and Spidey confront each other. Lizard beats the crap out of Spidey. One part he's drowning Spidey but a flashback of Peters memory
runs through Lizard's head due to the symbiote's capability of absorbing traits and memories from its host. in the flashback we see scenes when the symbiote covered Spidey and
what it had done to him. Lizard with confused but growling like voice says "Parker?" and Lizard runs away. Spidey wants to go after him but realizes he's no match for him.
Luckily Spidey has something up his sleeve.

Life is good for Peter Parker. He's graduating college with honors and ready to accept a job offer from his mentor and physics professor Dr. Curt Connors. He and MJ are happily engaged and moving in together. And, of course, there's...

Spider-Man.

The city itself is torn on its position of the webslinger. Some call him a hero while others brand him as a criminal in a mask. Peter mostly ignores it, but the occasional man or woman with the anti-Spider-Man sign irks him.

Curt Connors is a broken man. To hide his insecurities and failures as a husband and father (he can't be there for his son), he dives further into his work and his secret project--a regenerative formula derived from reptilian tissue samples.

After stopping a band of criminals in a high speed chase, Peter shows up to graduation late and arrives in the middle of Connors speech about family and the importance of rising above defeat. Peter recieves his diploma, with MJ and Aunt May there too. Peter meets Martha and Billy Connors and accepts Dr. Connors's offer as lab assistant.

The Daily Bugle remains unchanged. Spider-Man is still the enemy and Hoffman still manages to get under JJJ's skin. Peter turned down the staff job offered to him in favor of remaining strictly freelance, a fact JJJ doesn't let him forget. Betty and Peter have become close friends, though its evident that she may want more than a friendship.

Maxwell Dillon is a down-on-his-luck electrician working at OsCorp. One night, after making a careless mistake, he becomes the victim of a horrific electrical accident. He's rushed to the hospital, his body covered in burns. After awaking from a coma, he accidently kills everyone in his hospital room with his new abilities to control electrical currents. Scared, yet exhilirated, he runs off.

News of "Electro" spreads quickly and envelops the city in fear. Anything from a flickering light to a static-filled radio could mean he's near. As Peter shuts off a news broadcast, MJ walks over to him and tells him her good news: she's landed a major role on one of the most popular soap operas...only the job is in L.A.

Peter, despite the fact that MJ may leave, is like a child in a toy store on his first day at work with Connors. Connors shows Peter his regenerative formula and, for the first time in front of Peter, breaks down and acknowledges the handicapped-nature of his situation and the effects it has on his life.

Later that night, Connors is unable to play a game of baseball with his son and his friend. Connors is forced to watch his boy play a game with another child's parent. He realizes that he must take that formula. He leaves his home and returns to his lab.

A few days later, Peter recieves a phone call from Martha saying that she hasn't seen Connors in days. Peter finds him at the lab, unshaven and making tremendous progress on his project. Connors lashes out at Peter when he tries to persuade him to come home, resulting in Peter to leave.

Peter and MJ walk through Central Park, discussing their current predicament. MJ doesn't want to leave Peter but sees this as huge opportunity for her. Knowing NY needs Spider-Man, she can't ask him to come. He, sadly, agrees.

Meanwhile, Curt takes the formula and begins to transform into a reptilian creature. As Connors fights the animal inside him, he thinks of Peter and runs from the lab, hoping his former student will be able to help him.

Lizard attacks Peter, who must protect MJ from the mysterious creature. Not realizing it to be his professor, Peter fights it with everything he has. Through the water and trees of Central Park, the fight is brutal. In the confusion, MJ is injured and eventually Lizard runs off. Peter, battle ravaged with his Spider-Man costume exposed underneath his tattered clothing, is forced to watch from behind bushes as paramedics take his fiance away on a stretcher.

Lizard runs to the sewers where he eventually changes back into Connors. He's too weak to move and falls asleep next to the rats, taking refuge.

Peter visits MJ in the hospital room where she is being treated for some cuts and bruises. Unable to answer any questions about the creature that attacked them, Peter wonders aloud if maybe it's better that MJ leave him. In L.A., she can pursue her career and, ultimately, be safe. She can't argue and tears run down her cheeks.

Electro walks the streets, becoming accustomed with his new powers. He robs an ATM and plays with traffic lights. Now, Electro sees that his powers may not be a curse, but a blessing in disguise.

The next day, Electro robs a bank in the middle of the day. Spider-Man is on the scene and a massive fight takes place throughout the city, including Times Square. To facilitate his escape, Electro puts a family in danger by sending a billboard falling towards their car. Spider-Man webs up the sign, only to turn and see that Electro has escaped with the money. People gather and shout at the webslinger, criticizing him for the damage and his inability to stop a bank robber.

Peter recieves a call from Martha and the two meet for coffee. She informs him that she hasn't seen Curt since he left her house nearly a week ago. Peter once again goes to the lab and finds it destroyed. The regenerative serum is gone and Peter realizes that Connors is the Lizard.

On a nightly patrol of the city, Spider-Man hears panicked people running from a fast food joint. He goes behind it and finds Lizard riffling through the dumpsters. He runs, but Spider-Man follows. Lizard is more beastial than before and Connors succumbs to the monster and attacks Spider-Man. The fight enters the sewers and later the two re-emerge. Police are now gathered and ready to fire at the monster. Spider-Man, wishing to save his mentor, webs the guns and allows for him to run off. People see this and now Spider-Man becomes public enemy #1.

The Bugle has a field day with the news that Spider-Man helped the monster. Robbie, who hints that he knows Peter's secret, looks suprised and is unable to argue with JJJ. JJJ puts out at $100,000 to anyone who can get Spider-Man. As Peter returns from the Bugle, in a horrible mood, he sees MJ pulling out suitcases from the closet. She's leaving.

Electro, taking refuge in a rundown apartment, reads the Bugle and the story regarding the prize money. He instead goes to the Bugle and attacks JJJ, forcing him to give him the money. Spider-Man arrives and a fight ensues, putting staff members in danger. The webslinger finally manages to get the upperhand and the fight takes to the rooftops. Electro narrowly retreats in defeat. As Spider-Man swings back home, New Yorkers boo him and police cars follow. Realizing he can't bring the police back to his apartment, Spider-Man finds shelter on the top of the Chrysler Building for the night.

Connors, in the dark sewers, reflects on his former life. He begins to think of his son. As he recalls events in which he could not be there for his son, he becomes angered and transforms into the Lizard. He runs to his former house and breaks in. Martha, terrified by the creature, faints. Lizard sees Billy and grabs him, running off into the dark.

Electro, still bitter about his defeat, goes to a power plant and absorbs more electricity, multiplying his power immensely.

Peter finally is able to return to his apartment and sees that her things are packed and gone and her ring is sitting on the table.

Billy sits in a warehouse at the pier, terrified of the creature in front of him. Letting out a terrible shriek, Connors finally overcomes the monster and transforms back into a human, running to his son. The two sit there for a while, Connors apologizing for never being there. Billy responds that he's the best dad he could ever want.

MJ's taxi pulls in front of Aunt Mays house. She goes in to say her good-bye, but Aunt May tells her that she's always known about Peter being Spider-Man. May tells MJ that a person must follow their heart before they can do anything else, because without love, everything else falls apart. MJ tearfully says that she can't stay and leaves in her taxi and heads for the airport.

Electro, with his new power, causes a massive blackout that engulfs NYC in darkness. Peter instantly puts on his suit and knows that Electro is behind this. Setting up his trap, Electro lights a path via streetlamps that lead directly to the docks.

MJ is at the airport when the power goes out. She becomes frightened and whispers Peter's name. It's then she realizes that she can't forget him, nor live without him.

Spider-Man arrives at the dock and the two fight. Electro, his mind now on the fight, can no longer sustain the blackout so power comes back to the city. The heavy machinery at the pier is now under Electro's control and the webslinger must dodge cargo crates and swinging cranes. The police form a perimeter and circle the skies with helicopters, spot lights focused on the fighting pair.

Nearby, Connors hears the struggle and runs to his son, trying to protect him. The fight gets closer to the warehouse until it is right on top of the two. With Electro threatening the pair, Connors becomes angry and transforms into the Lizard. The two-man fight has now become a three-way battle. Spider-Man vs. Electro vs. Lizard. No alliances, everyone is fighting everyone.

MJ hears about the fight on the taxi's radio and tells the driver to take her to the piers rather than the apartment. The driver gets as close as possible, forcing MJ to sneak through the police barricade and into the heart of the fight. She sees a frightened Billy and runs to him, taking him with her as she tries to find safety.

Electro sees MJ and, in an effort to distract Spider-Man, hurls a crate at her and Billy. Spider-Man manages to get to the two and save them, but can't stop Electro from blasting Lizard with a massive bolt. The police have a shot and take it, hitting Electro and taking him out. Spider-Man goes to Lizard who heals quickly after the shock and the two fight.

Spider-Man reminds Lizard about his speech at graduation of family and rising from defeat. With Billy there cheering for his dad, Connors returns to his human form. Spider-Man gets the group out of the area, as the police approach and apprehend the wounded Electro and secure the area.

Peter and Connors discover a formula that helps them suppress his condition. Connors, though he doesn't know Peter's secret, owes his survival to the superhero and his son.

MJ tells Peter she can't leave him and Hollywood will just have to do without her for right now. Peter kisses her and the two swing off into the sun, through the skyscrapers of New York.

(just and update and going by the current news Michael Papajohn is the slim muscular bald man in my script)
the bald man is in a huge penthouse. in one of the rooms he's studying the various monitors across the wall is looking at the man
w/4 tentacles building a huge machine. the bald man says "he's doing fine Wilson. i'm going to go check on him right now. don't
worry you take as much time as you need. when you get back we'll have some great news to show you waiting for you. i guarantee the
weapons will be completed." Wilson responds "Don't let me down Max" the bald man hangs up and takes an elevator to the subterannean
level under the building. he greets Doctor Otto Octavius and a polite and comforting way. "how are we doing today?" doc ock
responds "with the amount of tridium we have i can only advise you that i might need more power to stabilize it" Maxwell responds
"that shouldn't be a problem. i will get that for you. don't let us down Otto he's done great things for both of us. he sprung
me out of prison and he saved you're life remember that." camera swings around to Doc Ock's back where the inhibitor chip once was
with a new chip like device on it and zooming in to a manufactured lable that reads FISK INC. the camera then moves to Otto's head
triggering a flashback.
we see the last scene w/Doc Ock and Spidey from Spider-Man 2 played out differntly. instead of Doc Ock taking down the machine
Spidey beats the crap out of Ock and destroys floor under the machine causing to drown along with Ock. in the distance on shore a big figure standing next to a
a nice limo puts his big hand (Kingpin) on Maxwells shoulder and says "now". "go get em boys" Maxwell says on a walkie talkie like device. in a futuristic
black RV like vehicle there is a team of men on computers in front of monitors who had been watching Spidey and Doc Ock the whole time
with high tec cameras. "Roger sir" one of them says as he reaches for a joystick device with many buttons. outside the RV you see
a robot deploy from under RV. it runs to the edge of the water and before jumping in transforms into a sleek miniature submarine
like vehicle darting towards Doc Ock submerging. once it gets close enough it shoots a net to cover Ock and the robot hauls him back
to shore. unconsious the team of men hop out of the RV to put Doc Ock inside. the team of men all get inside and Kingpin and Maxwell
get into the limo and drive off. later on in a hospital like environment Doc Ock wakes up similar to the hospital scene in Spider-Man 2
he wakes up on a examination bed and asks "where am i?" behind him a deep voice says "you're safe" we never see him but Doc Ock
looks to where the voice came from and sees a man. he asks"who are you?" "i am someone who saved you're life" responds Kingpin
"Thank you ummm" Ock says. "Call me Wilson". Kingpin goes on by asking what he remembers and Ock describes the alternate scenario
and Kingpin smiles in delight. for saving his life Kingpin asks him for a favor and in return he'll provide all the money he needs
to get him back on track as well as his assistance in killing Spider-Man. Flashback to the present Doc Ock tells Maxwell "how can
I forget"
Meanwhile back in Peter's apartment Peter is taking a hot shower trying to clean himself up from the sewer filth and stench. Gwen
knocks at his door. Peter opens the bathroom door across the hall of his apartment building and sees Gwen. he quickly shuts the door
but too late Gwen sees him and calls out to him. "Peter?" he slowly opens the door and slowly steps out of the bathroom. he nervously
says "oh hi gwen. didn't expect you to come over" Gwen advises him she needs to speak to him. before they both enter the room his
neighbor (the skinny girl) sees him walk in with her and has a saddened look on her face and closes her apartment door. Gwen throws
Peter off guard with a question "All clean now from the dirty sewer bath?" Peter tries to respond but Gwen tells him his secret
is safe with her. she wraps her arms around him and they kiss. the camera is focused on the bottom of their legs and Peters towel
drops.
Scene changes to Lizard running through the sewers wildly until finally reaching a dead end. through a nearby vent he can hear a
conversation between two men. "we'll be back with what you need. keep up the good work Octavius. we're all counting on you" Lizard
whipsers to himself "Octavius?" Lizard glances at the vent cover before tearing it off with his claws. he slithers inside. meanwhile
Doc Ock can hear something huge crawling in the ventilation system. above him he can see bulges pushing out. "Parker?" Doc Ock says
to himself. Doc Ock lunges towards the wall and uses it climb to the high ceiling. he rips open the ventilation system and Lizard
falls out. Suprised and scared at the monstrosity he sees before him Doc Ock attacks Lizard. after a brief battle Lizard yells out
"IT'S ME OTTO. IT'S KURT," Doc Ock responds "Kurt"? "what happened to you?" Lizard/Dr. Connors responds "i should be asking you the same
thing" 1st Lizard explains what happened to him and then Doc Ock does the same. After Lizard/Connors hears Doc Ock's plans w/Kingpin
of killing Spider-Man by using the weapons he's going to create using the machine he built Lizard/Connors refuses to let him. Both know
Peter is Spidey but have different opinions about him which results in another battle eruption. During the battle Maxwell and his
team were about to head out for more equipment for Doc Ock when a message over the intercom warns them about a security breach in
the lab. they all rush to the lab to see what's going on. Doc Ock overwhelming defeats Lizard and stops him from destroying the machine.
Max and his team reach the lab and see the Lizard wrapped in bent metal from disposable pieces that was from the construction of the
machine. Maxwell apologizes for the negelegence of the security. Doc Ock says don't let it happen again. that the stuff he's working
with is very delicate. Max tells him their gonna lock up Lizard and their gonna get the equipment he needs to finish the job. the team
carries Lizard into the elevator and Max tells his team that he will be a great addition to the project.
back at Peter's apartment Gwen and Peter are making out on his bed. but Peter stops before it goes any further. he says he's not ready
for this he hasn't moved on yet. out of frustration Gwen quickly gets up to gather her things.she tells Peter she's in love with
him but when he's ready for her love she'll be waiting but she asks also for him not to make her wait to long. she storms out of
his apartment. the skinny girl opens the door to see her in tears running out and she smiles with delight. Peter sighs after what happened
he turns to his night stand w/the framed science award he recently earned. "Dr. Connors" he says to himself. he grabs his suit and jumps
out his window swinging away.
its night time and Spidey breaks into the University in stealth undected. at one time a janitor (Stan Lee) does a double take when he thinks he saw
Spidey but before he looked again Spidey jumps to a high ceiling hiding in the shadows. the janitor just nods it off and says something
like i gotta stop drinking on the job and pulls out a flask from his jacket to throw it away. reaching a huge lab. he goes to Dr. Connors
desk and rips out a drawer where to 3 security keys are. he then goes to a huge door which requires two keys on each side to unlock
the door simultaenously. he puts both keys in both locks more than 15 ft wide from each other so Spidey webs the other key he can't reach to pull on
so he can unlock the locks simultaneously. he's succesful and enters the door into a chamber. the chamber was cold like a freezer to
preserve some specimens in there. using the number on the 3rd key he tries to locate where the key goes to. the chamber had walls of numberous metal box like containers with locks on them. Spidey finds the one the
key belongs to and opens it. having a guilty conscience he lets out a sigh. the box does a hissing sound when opening and it lets out a dry ice like mist. looking into the box theres a glass container with a label
that says "CONSTRUCTION SITE 2008" and in the container a black substance was dwelling. the scene changes to Spidey on the rooftop of the university.
Spidey sighs again and to justify what he was doing he says "he would understand" and breaks the container open to the ground. the black substance
slowly starts stretching tendrils. Spidey a little nervous starts breathing fast and hard as the black substance closes in on him and attches
itself to his feet. it slowly starts covering him from the feet up. finally he's fully covered Symbiote Spidey is back. but before Spidey
decides to go find Lizard he has a flashback.
a childhood past of someone begins to unfold. we see a young boy playing with his toys and stops b/c his parents start arguing. "I'm sorry Jamie but I have
to go. Dr. Parker and I are on the verge of curing cancer. can't you understand that?" says the father. "Damn it Eddie. is that all you
care about? Your family needs you. We only see you once a week. Can't this wait?" says the mother. "While I wait thousands of people
are dying around the world. I don't wanna argue with you anymore I'm leaving" responds Eddie Sr. Later in years the boy has grown
and he creeps into ahuge room of his house where he finds his father looking at some kind of black suit in a huge glass tube container acting violently towards
the Eddie Sr. Eddie Sr. then pushes a button on a nearby computer which sends vibrations through the glass container. "We have to
remove its negative energy but how?" Eddie Sr. can see his son standing in the door way off the reflection of the glass. "Hey what are
you here? Get outta here Edward" his father yells at him. More flashbacks moving up Eddie Brock Jr.'s timeline consisted of his mother's passing,
being picked on in high school, graduation, deciding what to do with his life, ad for working at Daily Bugle, falling for Gwen,
stalking her with his camera and other parallel events in Spider-Man 3. Finally what happened to Eddie Brock Jr. at the end of
Spider-Man 3. A flashback at the explosion right before Eddie jumps back in the symbiote. We see Eddie blown off the buidling and
falling on a huge concrete with the twisted metal bars for reinforcement sticking out impaling Eddie (like the end of the Spider-Man 3 game)
his body is still semi covered in the symbiote. theres a slight pause and the symbiote starts moving covering his body again. the
camera zooms in on his face and his eyes pop open.
