i've been thinking that these two are sort of like each other but with hero and secret identity reversed. in parkers secret or not so secret identity he is a man who gets prepared for things. this reminds me of prep time. in his hero guise his out going personality comes through. in batman's attempts to keep his identity secret he acts as a party guy, which reminds me of spidy.
so if we get into the whole what is an act and what isn't thing about hero's. in batmans case we know he acts as a playboy. in spider-mans case he acts as a nerd. does this make batman the coolest nerd ever? does this make spider-man the coolest playboy with bad luck ever? does this make bruce wayne the coolest playboy with bad luck ever?
or are they both nerd and playboy damaged by the loss of parents and or parental figures? with the point in their life it happened being the turning point. with their situation in life making the difference.
