Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends: Great show or Greatest show

I liked it. It comes on Toon Disney now. It had some great episodes.

Damn right it's the grestest. Favorite moment has to be in "Spider-Man Goes Hollywood" when Hulk is facing down four tanks, and the tanks all fire "knock-out gas" at him. Like the censorship for the show was so bad the tanks couldn't shoot anything about "knock-out gas".

It was the Greatest baby!
Spidey and his Amazing friends introduce so many characters that was never animated before like Storm ,Thunderbird and the Black Knight. I mean come on. it was Wolverine 1st animated appearance even if he had an Australian accent in it and got his claws stuck in a wall. So's not to show him slicing up people to death.

I think the show was too advanced for the time that it was on.

LOVE that show.

Greatest.

the only one i dont think i saw was the red skull one, because they didnt show the nazi stuff in the ep. it introduced me to the whole marvel universe. heroes and villains. so for me, its the greatest.

It was a great show for its time. Firestar sure was hot.:D The 90's Spider-Man series definitely improved on the villians & character designs though. I wish TOON DISNEY would put the old 1980's Incredible Hulk cartoon on also.

Last night's episode was great, had Namor, Captain America, Doctor Strange.

Sheena was an awesome movie. I remember seeing it when I was a kid.

We're getting a series DVD release in the UK next month (something I've been waiting for pretty much since DVD was invented).

I bought a pirated copy of these DVD's a few years ago on Ebay, but it wasn't the best quality and obviously transfered from some dodgy video tapes years ago. Can't wait to experience the series again. It was great, it had loads of villains and other heroes from around the Marvel U turned up every other episode. You never quite knew who'd pop up next. We've had no mention of the sister solo Spider-Man cartoon that aired around the same time though (the one with the great big Dr Doom arc) I'd like to see that again as well.

Well at the time it was the greatest. The voice actors were all perfect for their roles and the music ruled.

Cartoons from that time period all seemed to have really exciting music playing in the background all the time though. I miss that sort of thing in today's cartoons.

80's Hulk was amazing. My favourite episodes were the ones guest starring The Puppet Master and Doctor Octopus.:bh:
