PART 16:
INT. ENFORCER'S APARTMENT - DAY
DAN and OX stepped inside the apartment. But, before he
could even make it through the doorway, MONTANA was stopped
by the LANDLORD.
LANDLORD
(To MONTANA)
Rent is past due, WILLIAM.
MONTANA
You'll get it, when you get it.
Okay?...
LANDLORD
(Pauses
momentarily)
...You have 'til the end of the
week.
The LANDLORD then walked off and up the hallway, MONTANA
stared furiously up at him, before he stepped in-through the
doorway and then slammed the door behind him. Both OX and
DAN were looking at him, as they stood in the living room.
MONTANA
(Voice raises in
volume)
...I'm tired of this place, and I
hate this damn city!
MONTANA kicked his boot up-against the wall, from the
impact, there was a large dent in the wall from his kick.
MONTANA then marched over to the window, where he then
stopped before it and looked out and down at the street. DAN
and OX both followed MONTANA with their eyes, as they turned
to face him, while he was by the window.
MONTANA
(Mutters)
...Kid.
DAN
Yeah?
MONTANA
(Mutters)
...You're right. These people...
they don't deserve my attacks...
They'll all be getting their's,
soon enough... But, for now...
MONTANA turned to face DAN.
MONTANA
(Finished)
I'm sorry about today.
DAN
...You didn't ask much of me. But,
next time... I'll follow along.
You released me from prison to
start something new... With you
two... I'll follow you guys
anywhere, from now on, for what
you did... You guys are the only
true family I have.
MONTANA smiled softly, as he then nodded at DAN.
INT. PETER'S BEDROOM - DAY
PETER took one of the half-empty web-cartridges out from
within his fake book, as he then took it to the doorway.
Holding it up against the doorknob, he then released a seal,
as artifical web then begun to spiral around the doorknob.
PETER popped the seal back into place, where he then looked
around his room for a place to tie the line onto. Finally,
he just took it with him back to his desk, wrapping it
around one of his desk-legs.
PETER
(Mutters to
himself)
Time to sew 'em up, SPIDEY.
PETER picked up a needle and thread with both his hands, he
held the thread to the little, as he then slid the thread
into the hole on the end of the needle.
PETER
(Mutters)
Easier than I remember.
PETER tied the thread, where he then reached behind him to
grab his SPIDER-MAN costume, which was hanging from the
chair. he laid it flat out before him on the cleared-out
desk, where he then poked the needle in and through the edge
of where the cut was on the front of his suit.
CUT TO:
PETER holds up the SPIDER-MAN costume to the falling sun,
outside his window. The cut along the chest was sewn back
up, while the wrist-areas were also patched up.
PETER
(Mutters to
himself)
Not too shabby, MR. PARKER. Not
too shabby, at all.
PETER then folded up the costume in his arms, where he then
crouched down beside his bed. Reaching under it, he pulls
out a briefcase. Opening it, PETER gently places it inside,
to make sure it would fit, as it did. Satisfied, PETER
closed the briefcase and slid it back under his bed.
PETER stood back up, then sat down on his bed. Sighing, he
looked outside the window. Thinking to himself for a few
moments, PETER then catches sight of his cell-phone on his
shelf. PETER reaches towards it and picks it up.
CUT TO:
In his bedroom, HARRY's cell-phone started to vibrate by his
computer desk. HARRY looked over at it while he sat at the
computer desk and picked it up.
HARRY
(Answers the phone)
