Spider-Man: Friend or Foe

That has to be one of the dumbest ideas for a Spidey game that iv ever heard. I mean who in the hell is working in that office? F'ing chimpanzees? I mean this is just stupid. It should be pretty hard to f**k up a Spidey game, but these guys are doing everything they can to acomplish that.

I usually agree with you, but man, I think this game sounds really cool actually...I don't see what's so bad about it...

Doesn't matter. Of all the characters Spidey could team up with, Blade is one of the less likely characters. Sure, they had a run in or two. But characters like Black Cat or Human Torch are better choices because they often teamed up together and are good friends.

umm... it does say LONG LIST of spidey sidekicks...

-prowler
-puma
-punisher
-ironfist
-human torch
-silversable
-venom
-wolverine
-morbius
-manwolf
-captain america
-ghostrider
-doctor strange

those are prob his most noteable team ups...

I usually agree with you, but man, I think this game sounds really cool actually...I don't see what's so bad about it...

I just hate the fact that you have the ability to fight alongside Doc Ock and the Green Goblin. The whole thing just sounds really stupid. I mean, you defeat an enemy and then they become ur friends??? Just sounds lame.

I think it depends on how it's implimented- it would be very cool to play as goblin, doc ock and venom though...it's still to early to call but I trust this will work out since I loved SM3.

why? we've had SEVERAL spidey games where we fight his iconic enemy's. Never really one where we actually play as them (other then venom in seperation anxiety/marvel vs capcom/Nemisis and harry as the GG in spidey1 and spidey 3). I see nothing wrong with finally getting to play as his villains.. and technically in some situations he indeed has teamed up with them.

-Norman Osborn (well technically hes good now in the comics due to the SHRA)
-Harry Osborn (fought with spidey on several accounts, i believe they fought tombstone and molten man together)
-Sandman has teamed up with spidey on several accounts
-venom has teamed up with spidey on several accounts
-Doc Ock teamed up with spidey to fight a dude who stole his arm tech

so really this isn't farfetched at all so not sure why your spazing out

Why the complaining? This is something different and original and not what we see in the typical Spidey games. It looks to be an interesting twist and will provide alot of variety and potentially high replay value. Just wait till it comes out and/or we find out more info on it

whats weird is that this game is supposed to drop in a few months and we are only now getting details. And we JUST got a Spidey game. I hope they've been working on this for a while and its not rushed

Im still hoping this info is just a really late Aprils fools joke. Its just dumb. Norman Osborn and Spider-Man are NOT supposed to be pals, they are not supposed to team up, same with Doc Ock and countless other villains. Now maybe I'm reading the info wrong, but here is how i see it. When you fight a villain you have the ability to recruit them to fight alongside you, I'm sorry but ill never see that as anything other than stupid. Now, i dont have a problem with playable villains, but as partners for Spidey, no, just no.

dude.. chill and btw sandman turned good for quite a while at one point... and has had SEVERAL team ups... as well as venom. so take a chill pill.

plus the game even says... "a new spin on the movies" there just being more creative and letting us play as the villains, what we all wanna do..

dude take a chill pill, think out side the box... it's not hard. This game isn't going to be a "amazing game" its just one thats pushed out the door quick like ultimate spidey... and will be forgotten about within a few months.. you can tell from gobby its a bit more "cartoony" its just for fun plain and simple.

thats like asking if theres a real story to super bombad racing ....

umm cuz it takes alot of time and money to do that.. and by the time there done spidey 4 would almost be out anyway... so ya.. we gotta wait for spidey 4.. unless they half ass it like ultimate

who says we will have to wait till SM4? Thats not expected out till maybe 3 years. Theres 3 years to produce another Spidey game. They created Ultimate Spider-man during the wait between movies. Movie release isnt necesarily the only time we will get one.

The only one who can determine if its a waste of time and money is Activision and thats if the game doesnt sell. They wont know that till its released.

And how do you know this wont be a great game? No one has played it. Heck up until a few days ago most peopel didnt know anything much about it at all and we still dont know exactly how the gameplay and such will be like. Im just saying its not fair to just prejudge and disregard it when there isnt much to form a valid opinion on it.
