He originally started off in a cheap Halloween costume before Nick Fury gave him an official one. I think that's the same idea they're going for.

I was trying to imply that this probably isn't an AU Peter Parker that he's talking to in that scene. Flashback or just one of the earlier moments in the movie.

Something feels off about Peter Parker's voice, I was expecting Tom Holland to voice him, since I am used to him in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man Homecoming.

Tom Holland wasn't going to be involved in this so I'm not sure why you thought that

Just got home and just watched the trailer and Wow this looks incredible I was not expecting its art style to look like that and to look so good I am there day 1 most likely! I have always thought it was odd we didn't have a Spider-Man animated movie cant wait to see this!

I don't see how anybody cannot be impressed with the animation, at least technically...
Just look at the layers and reflections on the cab alone! And the way it's animated from that perspective shows the thought and creativity involved.
Some may not like the art style, and that's fine, but it definitely is not 'trash' or uninspired. That's for sure.

Don't know if he would work with Sony after the TASM fiasco. Maybe they don't want him either, who knows things change and people change, especially when money is involved.

Was really impressed with this trailer. The choice of animation style and stop motion goodness? Yes please. Also sooner that soundtrack drops the better.

As successful as the MCU has become, I was always of the opinion that Marvel going over to Disney would open the door for some great animation. CGI of today makes the live-action superheroes look very real, but nothing can beat animation for a comic book. This movie will do very well and I will be there on opening weekend.
