my ideal lineup would be:

1. Green Goblin - Dafoe
2.Electro - Foxx
3.Vulture - Keaton
4.Venom - Hardy
5.Kraven - MCU version
6. toss up between Molina’s Doc Ock and Gylenhaal’s Mysterio

...dream lineup

Green Goblin - Dafoe [Raimi]
Doc Ock - Molina [Raimi]
Vulture - Keaton [MCU]
Mysterio - Gylenhaal [MCU]
Scorpion - Mando [MCU]

...with

Shocker - Woodbine [MCU]

...or

Prowler - Glover [MCU]

I don't care for anything Webb related.

I'd love to see Dafoe return (with same glider, different costume), butn not as part of the Six.

(Side note: as a fan of Mary Jane from the comics if they ever decide to cast her or re:cast her Sierra McCormick looks and would be super ideal for a young MJ working with Tom Holland.)
Pretty sure an actual Mary Jane isn't going to be introduced since that's Michelle's role now.

And the MCU has their MJ.
Michelle is as close to Mary Jane's character as Zilla 98 was close to OG Godzilla. I still don't comprehend what they were thinking here, it confuses the hell out of me.

Saying Michelle Jones is MJ just because she has the same initials as Mary Jane is like saying Michael Jackson is also MJ since he shares the same initials. We know it's not the same person. Just like how Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lillian Luthor, Lois Lane and Lana Lang are not the same person despite having the same initials.

It is a bit different though. Homecoming called attention to her preference to be called "MJ." That is not just a throw away line, that is a sign of intent by Marvel Studios and Sony to consider her this universe's MJ. Yeah, she is not literally Mary Jane Watson, but from a narrative standpoint, she serves the same function that she did for this franchise.

They just make MJ diverse like Flash to make Social Justice Warrior quiet. Same like Flash. They are the same person.

You guys really think they’re gonna give Peter another love interest also called MJ at this point?

Well if Ms Watson introduces herself as Mary Jane, then that immediately identifies who she is. The fact that she has the same initials as Michelle Jones is just coincidental, as it would be in real life. If Mary Jane also chooses to be called MJ, then it doesn't invalidate her as a love interest just because she shares the same initials (and in fact, her initials are MJW).

It's not like we don't even have characters with the same first name in the MCU - eg Peter Parker, Peter Quill, Steve Rogers, Steven Strange.

Thats to assume they created the character and suddenly realised oh she had the same initials when the likeliness is they gave her the name Michelle Jones so they could call her MJ. they knew what they were doing when they created this character.

Yep. Which still confuses me.

Why not just call her Mary Jane then if you're gonna give her those initials?

I think if you expect a Mary Jane Watson to come into the Holland movies at this point (other than like Dunst if doing multiverse stuff), then I think you are kind of in denial. Homecoming framed the "My friends call me MJ" line as a big reveal. It wasn't a passing moment. With that line, they told us their intent. She is the main love interest of this series. No red heads are coming. Unless Zendaya dyes her hair red or something.

I'm glad that at least we have that she's not Mary Jane. She just went from bad to worse from Homcoming to Far From Home, so I'm glad there is that little distinction of being a seperste character.

Shame the rest of the supporting cast couldn't have also been name something else given how little in common they have with their comic counterparts and how poorly written they are.

After seeing Euphoria Zendaya is a fantastic actress, but I just don't care all that much about her character in the MCU and yeah she is pretty much Mary Jane even if they want to try and be clever about it.

I liked her even less in Far From Home than I did Homecoming too and it saddens me how talented she is and yet they still don't see to know how to properly write her character. Liz was a much more interesting love interest IMO and I thought Holland had better chemistry with her anyways.

I actually hope all of Peter's friends have smaller roles in the next movie, because they really got on my nerves in Far From Home, especially that poor excuse of a Flash Thompson.

I find Jacob Batalon incredibly obnoxious, onscreen and off.

And yea, Zendaya's abilities are squandered, as are even Tom Holland's himself. Especially after seeing The Devil All The Time, he's fully capable of playing a tougher, angstier, more independent Peter, but they never give him five minutes without slapping another mentor figure on his back.

Flash Thompson is pathetic. He's the type of kid that comic Flash Thompson would've bullied. Not only does Revelori Thompson not have any friends but he's also far more of a nerd and far less cool than Peter Parker. Comic Flash would've picked on him mercilessly.

If he hopes to influence people on social media, at least he needs some friends to do that, otherwise who is actually paying attention to him? Just random people on the internet who don't know either him or Peter Parker in person?

Pretty much. MCU Peter Parker is smarter, better-liked, better-looking, less nerdy, and taller than MCU Flash Thompson, looks like he could easily beat him up without superpowers, and has zero discernible reason to care what Flash thinks about him.

It legit did, though. He even got a teeny tiny character arc in how he came around somewhat and was remorseful for bullying Peter after Uncle Ben's death (if I'm remembering right).

One of the best scenes in that movie.

With how one-note Revelori Thompson's version is, I don't see him getting that kind of arc with Peter. The writers don't care enough to make it happen.

It's hard enough for Holland himself to get any substantive arc, let alone anyone else. His classmates are all as shallow as a puddle.

EDIT: it's a shame we didn't get any scene like that with MCU Peter going into rage mode and scaring the **** out of a bullying Flash, because after that scene in The Devil All The Time where Tom Holland lays the beatdown on those bullies, Holland totally could have made it work.
