What if Andrew “Tokyo Drifts” off of Tom using his webs to catch her… omg.Regarding that scene with MJ at the end, I'm really hoping
Tom fails to save her and Andrew comes in to save her, as a sort of redemption moment from Gwen's death.... that would just be *chef's kiss*
So I had to unfortunately watching this on my phone cause I was out running errands lol. As far as my thoughts, not the greatest trailer but I liked it for the most part. I do agree about it being a bit disjointed and I wish there was some big surprise at the end instead of "DC Crisis sky" stuff. But while I was a bit underwhelmed, still excited to see it.
Agreed. While my expectations for seeing Tobey and Andrew were low, I was totally hoping to see a spotlight on Goblin in this trailer. That's probably the biggest thing I was disappointed with.I really feel like more Green Goblin would had made this a home run. We saw Ock last trailer, so seeing him dominate this one too was underwhelming. This one needed the Goblin

It's odd because he is in the trailer, so it isn't like they're hiding him either. Why not emphasize him more?
Watched the trailer, this time with the wife. Same thoughts. It's a single. Not a home run. I am expecting a movie about Homecoming and Far From Home quality. Not elite MCU
Their interactions with Ock seem to be plentiful and perhaps less spoilery then Gobby. It's odd because he is in the trailer, so it isn't like they're hiding him either. Why not emphasize him more?
Here's the thing: They're not elite MCU because there is no such thing as elite MCU. These movies, at their best, have been fun, well-acted, and (mostly) well-written little diversions. Nothing on the level of the very best the superhero film genre has to offer, e.g. Batman Returns and Spider-Man 2. As much as I enjoy most of them, I wouldn't consider any of them 5 star classics.
Oh, Sony. You can end this any time you want, you know.
WHOOPS.
WHOOPS.
I've seen Ragnarok, Black Panther, the Winter Soldier, Civil War and Endgame. I fundamentally disagree with your premise. But hey, I'd take all the other Spidey flicks over Spidey 2. It's all opinion at the end of the day. Here's the thing: They're not elite MCU because there is no such thing as elite MCU.
